Could use an assist on logo resizing......
My business logo that I use for most things is relatively small (400x400). It works for most needs, but I'm going to be putting some large signs in some local sports stadiums in the area. I think there's a way to adjust that logo by redrawing it in Photoshop to allow for the increase in clarity/resolution, but I admit that I'm not really sure how to do that. Anyone know a good or easy way to get that done? Thanks in advance.

I've only ever had marginal success with increasing resolution. Most of the time, I have to just start over with the new image because sharpness and smoothing filters only do so much

What you're trying to do can be accomplished by using vector graphics. I read up on this when trying to design my photography logo. Basically vector graphics can be scaled to any size without losing any quality (as opposed to bitmap graphics).
Try redesigning your logo using Adobe Illustrator.

You need to get your logo from the person who designed it, like ABC said in a vector format so you can resize it appropriately. Whoever made it, had to have made it in vector before they turned it into a PNG/JPG whatever for you to use.
