NFL Over/Unders Game Official Thread

This has not gotten a lot of traction, but maybe there are people who are interested.

This is a game in which we all put in $50. We then pick 10 over/unders. No more than two teams per division. Use the over/unders list provided below.

Before kickoff of the Thursday night opener, you will send me $50. You can paypay it to brignac [AT] gmail [DOT] com or Venmo it to [AT] Elizabeth-Brignac

You will also post in this thread your predictions.

Your total score is how many wins above the o/u you got for your over and how many wins you got below the o/u for your unders.

In the (hopefully unlikely) event that teams don't play 16 games, we will pro-rate it.

Winner get 100% payout.

You may edit your posts, but any posts with an edit timestamp after kickoff of the opening game voids your entry.

Would we count a negative score, if the team wins below the OVER line we selected, or above the UNDER line we selected? Or is the baseline zero for each pick?

You can get a negative score. So (to use the simple example of picking three teams)

If I pick Cards OVER 8
Falcons OVER 8
Bucs UNDER 8

And the final records are

CARDS 3-13
FALCONS 8-8
BUCS 7-9

Then my final score would be -4 (-5 for the Cards, zero for the Falcons, +1 for the Bucs).
