I think it will be better, but I am not quite as optimistic as you. If the Senate races go Dem, then it will be a pretty good year. If not, it will only be some what better. It will only be worse if something extremely crazy happens between now and January 20th. It will never be great, because I think we are going to be dealing with Covid well into next winter, and there isn't much of a chance that it isn't going to take someone we love from us before it is all over (if it hasn't already). On top of that, I think we are going to see the Right-wing crazies go even more bonkers as the year progresses.

** Realization that the world is more important than any nation and our goals should therefore be more global than national.
** Global progress on climate-change related matters in particular ** Within America, beginning the process of healing with the necessary facing up to the actual reasons for Trump's support ** As quick as possible a return to normalcy from the pandemic ** Getting my discipline back on health matters personally. ** Continued progress towards my personal and financial goals. The first three would literally require extravagant acts of God to happen. But the last three are more achievable. So that's where my energy will mostly go. |

Agree that #1 would be an act of God. I think #2 and #3 are possible to a certain degree. |
