Spleen, this is from post #1

Quote:
Town Roles, Occupations and Allegiances

Each player in the game has a role assigned to them randomly at the start of the game. The list of possible roles includes but not limited to those listed in the next Post below this one. The possibility exists that there might be roles included in the list that are not active in the game, or roles in the game that are not included in the list however.

Each player in the game also has an allegiance assigned initially based on their role. A person's allegiance is not static however, and there could possibly be mechanisms in the game that could cause a player's allegiance to change. To start the game all players will have allegiance to either the Town (the Villagers), or allegiance to the Cowboys (the Wolves).

It says everyone is assigned a role and being a townie or cowboy is an allegiance, not a role.

That would also imply that all cowboys have a role as well. Which does not cleare Lathum, Anxiety and NTN as much in my mind.

You guys will see that I am telling the truth. I don't have a role.

I think some focus needs to be placed on bullet. He has been overplaying the part of the town drunk. If I remember right, none of his posts have been out of character, hoping to get us all ignoring him.

If anything, I've made the last 30 or so posts interesting.

Actually, how does everyone else interpret the "Town Roles, Occupations and Allegiances" section of the rules? It looks like all townies have roles. But I guess it could mean not all cowboys? Just a townie may have an allegience with cowboys, such as the "turncoat" type of role??

Ok back and caught up. So I think saldana's two actions tonight should be to

Free Lathum
Jail Spleen

I'm trying to think of what role spleen would have that would allow him to avoid being executed. I'm thinking retired judge. So spleen says something that he knows will get him executed, but then will publicly allow him to be cleared. Pretty crafty. Either that or he's a cowboy. So I think we should play out the gambit.

Do you know something else about Thomkal's killing or is the shot in the face/head thing just for flavor?

The "no role" discussion is not something that I would have anticipated walking in on upon my return.

Saldana, are you going to be around after the lynch for awhile? I'm OK with putting out a jail vote now if you care about those or we can just discuss them after night actions begin.

I don't understand spleen's game.

It's either "very bad cowboy" or "very bad villager." Either way I think he should be hung from a tree.

Saldana seems to be giving the big middle finger to both of the things the rest of us feel pretty clear about. One, or the other, I understand. Not doing both? That's bad news.

It has already been shown in the rules that I'm supposed to have a role.

Now, if I was a cowboy, why in the hell would I say I didn't have a role when I do? That would be a very bad cowboy move. I'm not that stupid guys. Go back and look at the Lost game. I played very well up until the point I had to quit because I was laid off from work. I would not make this move as a cowboy. That would be absolutely stupid.

I'll say it again. I am a villager who happens to not have a role.

I really think all of the early role reveals has thrown this game out of balance and I think Alan is going to fix that.

Has there ever been a game where 4-6 roles were revealed this early?

Going to as in change the rules in the middle of the game?

I don't think there has been a game with so many role reveals, no, but then again most games don't have so many roles.

I'm not sure what to make of his refusal to put Spleen in jail, so that is why I am calling for Anxiety to put Saldana in jail. Note that I am not saying we should lynch Saldana tomorrow.
