Leaf - Smith
It is 1990 something. Pete Rozelle has gone insane and decreed that the NFL is getting reshuffled. You're building a team from scratch, and you want to draft a QB in the next slot. Ryan Leaf and Akili Smith are both available. Your coach is Jimmie Johnson. You've already picked up a decent line and some solid but unspectacular receivers, but your defense looks to be quite average.

I'd seriously go with a trout in this spot.

Go trout.
I quit and turn my attention to a career in basket weaving. |

At least Smith didn't seem to be a total asshole.

I went with Smith. We could run the option, right?

I still halfway expect Smith to emerge as a decent starter.

Leaf, the only thing standing between him and the pro bowl is a lobotomy.

Of course I'm biased in my vote... AKILI SMITH any day! Ryan Leaf was a disgrace to the Chargers organization and a idiotic move by Bobby Beathard.
