That Biz Markie song is so bad, but I love it so much.

I must dislike the music from around 1979-1982. It seems like I think the majority of them are annoying or just not good.

I think the two best songs in this bunch other than Cum on Feel the Noize are paired against each other. Funkytown and Precious and Few

This has got to be the worst set of matchups we've done so far.

Thoughts:

M vs Natural Selection - predictable.

Martin Page vs Us3 - had no guess on how this would turn out...but felt it would be pretty tight.

Biz vs Bridges - Biz has his supporters and I felt he'd win, but I don't think he's going to be around very long.

Quiet Riot vs Rocky Burnette - I like the Burnette tune, but I also knew it had NO SHOT here. In fact, Riot's 35 votes was the highest of the group and probably make Noize a song to watch for the rest of this bracket.

Haddaway vs Stacey Q - This was right in line with my predictions.

Zagar & Evans vs The Darkness - I knew Darkness had a contingent of supporters from the original thread...so it put up a pretty good showing. The next round could be very tight.

Lipps vs Climax- Ha...I'll just move on now...

EMF vs Child - No question about this one...but the fact that Lipps arguably had the tougher first round match up and still got more votes than EMF might make round 2 very interesting.
