Best Sports Game/Series EVER Group C
4 Tony Larussa Baseball: Tony La Russa Baseball 2 gameplay (PC Game, 1993) - YouTube
29 Football Manager series: Football Manager 2020 Gameplay (PC HD) [1080p60FPS] - YouTube 13 Mutant League Football: Mutant League Football Sega Mega Drive Genesis - YouTube 20 NES Ice Hockey: NES Longplay [309] Ice Hockey - YouTube A strategy game in our first matchup: Tony LaRussa baseball followed the trendsetters in the genre (Earl Weaver Baseball, Microleague Baseball), but actually seemed a lot deeper.) They got a HORRIBLE matchup, however, as Football Manager is one of the all-time greats, if you count back to it's Championship Manager days, it's had something like 20 versions, and just keeps getting bigger and better. They basically own the soccer management sim area now. In our other Group C matchup, Mutant League Football takes on NES Ice Hockey. For a game that only had three types of characters (slim/fast/, medium, big/slow), there was all kinds of ways one could build the team, and there was all kinds of arguments about what the best roster was. Mutant League Football is iconic, it was Madden with mutants, aliens, and killing the other team. It inspired a hockey sequel, and more recently, a homage from the original creator of the game (Mutant Football League)

Mutant League Football - I played that more than Madden, I think - especially with friends. It was so satisfying and fun.

Tony Larussa Baseball 2 was the first PC game I was ever addicted to. That game sparked my interest in baseball history.
