Political Guesstimates: You Guess, We Decide..
I used to run a game called Guesstimates, where I provided things for people to make WAG (That's Wild Ass Guesses for those of you who don't know. One of my FOFC friends asked me recently why I never restarted it... so here goes.
Remember, no editing of your guesses, your job is to read this, and make your guesses. All numbers provided as of noon Wedensday as provided on CNN.com are final for the purposes of guessing: A) What will be the final spread in the national popular vote? (it doesn't matter who wins, just provide the difference between the winner of the popular vote and the loser of the popular vote, in number of votes) B) How many states will be instacalled at 8 PM EST on CNN when voting closes on the east coast? C)What will be the % margin of victory in Pennsylvania (not votes, %) D) How many national seats will the Democrats gain TOTAL? (That is, the change in the house, the senate, and if Romney/Ryan win the election, President/Vice President. If you think the Republicans will gain total seats, provide the number as a negative, ie Republicans gain six seats would be provided as -6) E) When will the first network call the election? (Please provide time and time zone, I'd prefer if you gave the time as EST, but I know not everyone lives on the east coast). Tie breaker, which network will first call the election? F) How many states will have a difference of less then 2% between the winner and second place? G (Provisional)) How many candidates will get at least two tenths of one percent in the voting? (Not sure that CNN et all will go that deep in the tracking)/

I pretty much nailed the time the race was called (and the network), unless one of the broadcast networks did so earlier.

yup, now I just gotta correlate the numbers
Margin of victory: 2,681,554 Pennsylvania: 5.1% 7 seat gain so far, but while other races have not been called, we had a deadline (ms)NBC called it at 11:13 PM And I can't find ANYONE that has national vote totals except for the big two.
