Evernote
Seems like it's a more flexible and approachable implementation of the "cloud drive" concept. I have an account, and the iPad app... anyone here offer thoughts on whether this is or isn't worth spending some time with?

Yeah, I had a beta account way back when and never used it. Now? I'm finding it way more useful years later. I have the Evernote app on my work machine, home machine, iPad and my Android phone and it's raised its usability in the way that Dropbox has for me. I can't see splurging on the pay version, but the free accounts of this (and incidentally, Dropbox) both serve extremely well across multiple platforms/devices in a way that other programs haven't matched.

Oh yeah? I have the free versions, but I guess I've never really put the time into figuring out how to use them...maybe I should.

I love using it for storing recipes that I find online, and I can tag them and sort them and find things easily enough. And I can access it home, work, or my smartphone.

I use Evernote religiously for personal stuff. For work stuff that can't be "in the cloud" I use Microsoft OneNote. I actually think OneNote is the better program, but the automatic syncing between devices of Evernote can't be beat.
