Hmm, going over the rules again more carefully, and I see I actually can't use a shield either. I will take both items and hope to barter them off to one of you who can use them, or I'll sell them to the Djinn tomorrow to get some cold hard cash.

Yes, not only did I select the most common class but the most common race of the class as well.

My initial room also contains a star, a black rug with a gold star woven into it. I also can place a coin on a shelf. I'm leaning towards that, though don't you just expect the DM to say "You place the coin on the shelf. Nothing happens. What did you think would happen, a giant chest of gold would rise up from under the rug for your piddly gold piece donation?"

I have a feeling that after sliding on the chute in my room, I will receive a t-shirt that reads:

I visited the dungeon and all I got was fifty bucks, this lousy t-shirt, and five days of food...and I'm a Sis'Sharr, so I can't even eat the damn food."

It's usually the most quiet Dvergr Clerics that are the most effective, as everybody knows.

Anyway, I have a star burned into the floor, and a low-hanging chandelier I have the option of bashing.

I'm going to go ahead and start processing morning actions. What I'll do is create a tab with your pm and the info, and then not hit send until we hit 10, but therefore help the processing then. If I accidentally hit send early, please do not tell anyone here. There is still time to change your action, of course.

I slid down the chute, which, as I was told would've been fun when I was 5...however, I'm not 5 anymore.

I will be moving. Are people heading "in", meaning forward or skirting the edges by going right or left? I can go forward or right and thought about going right to try and bump into somebody if people aren't going inward.

I'm skirting the edge. I believe the dungeon gets harder as you move forward so, I'm guessing you want to see a brick color change every 2-3 levels.

Human Artificer checking in, happy to help anyone with their magic needs.

I'm not surprised that I'm the only one.

My opening room had a silver star on the floor and a wooden rod proudly displayed on a metal stand. I inspected it -- it is melded tightly to the stand and I can't do anything with it.

I can go forward or right. I think I'm going right.

Anyone mind if he does, one action late? I will be assigned him a random race and class so that he doe not benefit from pre-knowledge

well after posting that above, found out something that makes me have a better chance of being able to participate. My mother is likely going to have back surgery, but a test she needed to take has been pushed back from today to Thursday, and not sure when she would have the surgery after that anyway. So thanks and a big :P if you say no to letting me in.

Okay, Thomkal now has a room description of his first room, which he may choose to share or not to share. He needs to get me a move action for 4, and I still need a weapon decision from him. His character has been added to the roster at the beginning.

He selected Human Artificer, but I determined randomly and rolled Human Wizard. Since that was so close anyway, I decided to give him his desire.

Thanks Abe!

I find myself in a room with two exits, one forward and one right. There is a blue star magically attached to the ceiling, and a bath here. I washed in the bath and nothing happened, but at least I'm clean now.

Did anyone investigate the star in their room or is that possible? I'm guessing the stars aren't anything significant otherwise.

Oh and I think going left or right rather than forward makes sense at this point, will give us a better chance of meeting up with each other. And as a frail artificer, I will need to meet up with a lot of you for protection.

Please note that, after you move at 4:00, if you are still alive and still in the room you moved to, directions given will be from your new orientation, not from your original one

So, for example, if you go right, and end up in a room with exits left, forward and right, then left in the new room is the same direction as forward in the first room.
