Official NFL Pro Bowl Thread

Awwwwwww.....c'mon, someone had to start it! I believe I will be the only poster in this thread, but I will watch the game since I'm TDY in Kansas City and have nothing better to do than watch the game (after Epic Movie on HBO).

I forgot that it was even on. And now that I know it's on, I'm still not going to watch it.

Still watching Epic Movie, but there's no Alicia Keys for the Pro Bowl pre-game. In fact, there's no pre-game on FOX whatsoever.

Garcia just threw a 38 yard pass to Owens.

I laughed.

Adrian Peterson is good, but he's no Reggie Bush.

Looks like the NFC is going to win. Poor Norv. I was going to start an "official" Pro Bowl commercials thread, but I think some people would think I was serious about it.

There are a few things I learned today:

1. Moose has a TiVo, wants to catch an episode of Terminator: TSCC, but hasn't done so yet.
2. Goose is still a fatass and isn't funny.
3. Jeff Garcia has started for 5 different teams in 5 consecutive years.
4. Linemen can wear the number "21".
5. The lightsaber cutting the turkey commerical was pretty funny.

It's an old thread, but I didn't feel the Pro Bowl was worth a new one.

This may have been more entertaining than the game though...

2013 Pro Bowl -- Washington Redskins' Trent Williams Tasered, popped with bottle, sources say - ESPN

Quote:
Redskins offensive tackle Trent Williams, who will miss Sunday's Pro Bowl after being hurt in a brawl at a Honolulu nightclub, was Tasered in the back and cracked over the head with a champagne bottle during the melee yet still did not fall to the ground, sources say.

What's the point of playing the Pro Bowl when most of the Pro Bowlers aren't even playing...most are out because they are in the Super Bowl or are "injured".

I still recall when my ow QB David Garrard was playing in the Pro Bowl and i just shook my head - that was when everything was wrong.

Can't argue that a simple 7-7 score at the end of the first quarter is in any way inflated Pro Bowl scoring

That might explain the score which take away the two turnovers would be 31-0.

No one evern went after the receiver on that TD from Wilson to MArtin, so its Pro Bowl day again, you can tell.

The fact that 6 Chiefs are in the Pro Bowl validates the low amount of attention I've given to it.

Is the NFL Pro Bowl the only major sport all-star game where the stars all try to avoid actually playing in it?

I think that name is already taken by the bowl game that pits the #4 Mountain West team against the #6 team from Conference USA.

Can't blame AFC braintrust too much with several special teams attempts to get back in, teh coaches at least want to win But the players?
