A few thoughts...

* Someone needs to track back on the US left to help Beasley. He simply can't cope with J. Ayew and Atsu.

* Losing Jozy hurts. Jóhannsson is a good forward, but he's not a target man who can play alone up top. He needs someone to feed off of him more than Dempsey dropping into a #10 role.

* The team needs to play wider. They're choking themselves in midfield with the narrow diamond that Klinsy has elected to play. As a result, Ghana is exposing us wide (especially on their right our left). Opare has shown that he can be exposed as Ghana's right back. We need more than just Beasley to expose him.

* We need to settle down and try to control play a bit more. Ghana is harrying us hard whenever we touch the ball. If we can slow it down a bit, Ghana will become frustrated and start fouling even more.
