Oof. I was looking at the ND Roster when I saw that was probably my matchup.
It's going to bad... I'd be pretty shocked if we pull out the win.

Pitt managed a 42-7 win over Oregon in the Sun Bowl. Nothing terribly interesting to speak of in this game. The Pitt D forced lots of punts and maintained a number of methodical drives for scores. Hopefully this should cement a top-10 finish.

Should be fun to play Florida in the Cotton Bowl.

I beat up on Notre Dame on the road to start the season, when they were ranked #6. A quick search on here reminds me that they got out to a 28-14 lead early in the 2nd quarter thanks to Armando Allen going nuts when I kept trying to go for big hits instead of just wrapping him up. I rolled off 31 straight points after that. So just try to contain him...their passing game sucked (outside of dumpoffs to Allen) and their defense was mush. You should be fine. I saw this after I played them... But, it's pretty much what I did. I called tons of zones on 1st and 2nd and blitzed that mo-fo on 3rd and long. Contained him well enough (although Allen still got off a kick return for a TD) and pulled out a 36-21 win. Very excited about how this team turned out, but I'm worried about games like this next year. I lose a TON of talent in my front 7 and stopping strong rushing attacks will be tough.

Another choke vs. a human opponent. Good game, Mike. You made big plays when you needed to.

I'm really nervous about this game with Ironhead. Hopefully we can keep up our streak.

Also, I wondered why I didn't get the Sugar Bolw matchup against Ok State. I was second in the SEC and first team is in the NC. Shouldn't that put me in the Sugar Bowl?

NC State has an incredibly tough game against Alabama, who is rated really damn high for a 7-5 team. We never led by more than a TD, going up 7-0, they tie it 7-7. Another TD makes it 14-7, they answer with a FG. After a scoreless 3rd period we get a FG in the 4th to go up 17-10. they get a FG to make it 17-13, and after a drive of ours stalls, they get the ball at their own 30 with about a minute left. Alabama drove quickly down to the NC State 30 where their drive stalled, on 4th and 9 we stop them about 2 yards shy of a first down and hang on for the win.

Ok State beat Florida 49-46 in the Cotton Bowl. A TD by the Gators with 2 seconds left made it a little closer than it seemed.

Arkansas beats Texas A&M 28-18 to win our second straight national championship. It was the 29th straight win for the Razorbacks.

Can I use this to officially request an OOC matchup with Arkansas for next year?
