PG Jrue Holiday, 6'4 180, 23, 82 rating. Strengths: Shooting, perimeter defense, ball handling. Can play some 2 as well.

PG Mo Williams, 6'1 190, 30, 76 rating. Strengths: Quickness and shooting.

SG Evan Turner 6'7 205, 24, 93 rating. Strengths: Outside shooting, ball handling, IQ, perimeter defense, dunking.

SG Karl Fuller, 6'6 197, 25, 62 rating. Strengths: Shooting.

SG Ramon Ramos, 6'4 204, 21, 57. Strenghts: None. Has potential to become a good shooter.

SF Thaddeus Young, 6'8 220, 25, 80. Strengths: Perimeter defense, shooting, athleticism.

SF J.P Kelley, 6'11 217, 20, 68. Strengths: Size, outside shooting, and potential.

SF Hal Myers, 6'9 215, 21, 56. Strengths: None.

PF Bernie Jefferson, 6'10 253, 25, 81. Strengths: Rebounding, defense, dunking, nice shooting touch inside 12 feet. I think he still has some untapped potential.

PF Charlie Villanueva, 6'11 232, 29, 73. Strengths: Legitimate 3 point shooting. Turner could make him a big time scorer on the pick and roll. Defense is a liability.

PF Luc Richard Mbah A Moute, 6'8 230, 27, 72. Strengths: Perimeter defense, good rebounder for his size. Good athleticism. Still, he is the odd man out as I don't like undersized PF's. I'm going to see if I can flip him for a younger prospect.

PF Troy Murphy, 6'11 245, 33, 65. Strengths: Shooting, size, can play center.

C Mareese Speights, 6'10 245, 26, 77. Strengths: Shooting, can score from a lot of places. Isn't the best post defender or rebounder.

C Lloyd Madsen 6'10 288, 22, 62. Strengths: Rebounding.

C Ron Jamison 7'1 266, 24, 56. Strengths: Rebounding. Appears to have hit his roof. Will never be more than a big body rebounder.

Rotation Expectations:

PG Holiday, SG Turner, SF Young, PF Jefferson, and C Speights.

6th man: Mo Williams.

Key bench players: Kelley, Villanueva, Murphy.

Contributors: Madsen, Fuller.

I'm willing to move Myers, Ramos, Moute, and Jamison.

I really want to move Moute and put him on the block. I immediately get a bunch of intriguing offers. The 2 most interesting are:

Theodore Jackson and Ronny Turiaf for Moute and Ramos or Donnie Mann (best PF in this past draft) and Julian Wright from the Raptors for Moute and Murphy. I like Murphy and don't want to move him but that trade would likely help chemsitry as Villanueva is going to need his minutes...

Actually, Mann and Jackson both look like they will be serviceable players, but there is one other offer out there that is too tempting to pass up...

I trade Moute to the Wizards for their 1st round pick plus Andrei Kirilenko. Let's hope they bomb another season and this pick is good.

In his pre-season debut, Kelley with 8 points in 19 minutes. We beat the Mavs 119-104 behind 32 from Turner.

Kelley shoots 1 of 10 in his 2nd game, but we win 102-100 over the Jazz. Williams led us with 23 points and 5 assists.

We continue to be unbeaten in pre-season as we beat the Nuggets 111-91. Turner with 25 points and 8 assists. Villanueva with 21 points. Jefferson has had 3 double doubles. Tonight he had 11 and 10!

Kelley shot 1 of 5. Ouch.

The Bulls get 43 from Rose to beat us 120-113. Turner with a triple double - 23 points, 11 boards, and 11 assists. Speights with 21 points and 9 boards. Jefferson with 7 and 7. Kelley with 5 points and 3 boards in 18 minutes.

We beat the Raptors 125-90. Holiday with 32 points and 9 assists. Turner with 24. Young with 19. Villanueva with 18 points and 10 boards in 21 minutes.

Kelley shot 1 of 6. He did pull down 6 boards in 21 minutes.

We beat the Bulls 108-90 with 29 points from Turner, 22 from Speights, 16 from Holiday and Villanueva. Kelley with 4 points and 4 boards in 19 minutes.

We win our final pre-season game 112-90 over Dallas. We go 6-1 in the Pre-season. Our team is loaded and chemistry is GREAT! I think I have enough bench fillers who will be happy with limited minutes while having a good balance of talent...

Our roster rating is an impressive 94

We open up hosting Orlando which has a 89 rating. Their top 3 players are Howard, Lawson, and Harden. Trevor Booker and Juan Cardona round out their starting 5.

I'll play that game later tonight.

We are #1 in the first power poll of the year!

Time to play the revamped Orlando Magic...

With 6:10 to go in the quarter we are down 11-9. I bring in Kelley and Villanueva.

With 3:09 to go in the quarter, Holiday finds Kelley in the corner. He takes his first shot.. and makes it! 19-16, we lead after the 3 pointer.

At the end of 1, we are up 27-19. Turner is playing at an amazing level.

With 11:30 to go in the 2nd, Young is fouled hard by Howard and he is hurt. Kirilenko will come in for a bit.

Young has been diagnosed with a severely sprained back. He will miss 2-4 weeks and Kelley will get a chance to play big minutes..

I rest Turner for a few and they cut a 33-19 lead and make it 33-26.

Speights hits a 3 to make it 36-26. Love his range!

Turner with a quieter 2nd quarter but still a very good half.

At halftime, we are up 45-35.

Turner with 14 points, 7 assists, and 5 boards at the half.

Turner fouls Harden hard early in the 3rd and Harden is hurt. This is getting chippy..

Harden broke a few ribs and is out for 4-6 weeks.

All of my starters are tired with 2:40 to go in the 3rd. I bring in an entire 2nd unit: Williams, Fuller, Kirilenko, Villanueva, and Murphy. We lead 64-48.

At the end of 3, we are up 69-54.

Lead shrinks to 69-62 as I bring back all of my starters with 9 minutes to go..

We win the game 84-74 as they never get closer than 7.

Turner is the player of the game with 26 points, 10 assists, 8 boards, 3 steals, 2 blocks, and 5 turnovers. He shot 12 of 22, 1 of 2, and 1 of 2.

Jefferson with 18 points, 7 boards, and a block in 31 minutes. He shot 9 of 15.

Speights with 14 points, 4 boards, and 1 block in 31 minutes. He shot 5 of 11.

Kelley with 7 points, 10 boards, 2 assists, and 2 steals. He shot 3 of 12. He played 31 minutes.

Holiday with 5 points, 8 boards, 8 assists, 4 steals. He shot 2 of 4. 0 turnovers.

Kirilenko with 4 points and 1 board in 11 minutes.

Murphy with 4 points and 4 boards in 12 minutes.

Villanueva with 24 points, 3 points and 6 boards. He shot 1 of 5.

New Orleans has fired Jerry Sloan and hired Sean Stallworth.

Derrick Rose and Carmelo won Players of the Month for December. Marshall Samuel (Washington) and Marcel Micoud (UTA) won Rookie of the Month.

Jan 2nd, 2014 -

Fuller and Villanueva with 10 each. Jefferson with 8 points, 11 boards, and 1 block. He is now 100%.

Jan 3 -

We host the Nuggets who are 13-21 and horrible with only Carmelo as their real asset. We win 105-90.

Carmelo with 32. Holiday with 20 points and 7 assists.

Turner with 16 points, 10 boards, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Fuller with 14 points in 14 minutes.

Villanueva with 11 points and 8 boards.

Jefferson with 8 points, 8 boards, and a block.

Our next game is hosting the Hornets on the 5th. They are 10-23 despite a talented roster. We are now 23-10.

Jan 4th -

Stan Van Gundy has been fired in Boston. They have hired Brandon Marsh. The Celtics have lost 10 straight.

I decide to look in on Iggy - he is doing very well. Near his career high with 18.6 ppg, 6.2 rpg, and 6.9 apg. He also is at a career high 2.4 spg. Despite that, the Spurs are 10-23 and almost dead last in the Western Conference. Could I trade for him? Should I?

9. Heat 16-18! (why are they doing so bad? I'll take a closer look in a minute)
10. Knicks 17-20
11. Nets 17-20
12. Bucks 17-20
13. Hawks 15-24
14. Magic 12-27 (another surprise)
15. Celtics 10-27

Oh wow. The Heat lost LeBron for the year to a torn MCL! He only played 26 games this year. Will he come back to full strength in the future?

Chris Bosh has also been hurt this year and has missed several weeks.

No such injury concerns for the Magic. Harden isn't playing so well with Lawson and Howard which is a surprise. I thought that trio would blend very well.

The Celtics have been without Rondo for part of the year with a broken arm. Arenas is unhappy and is a cancer to the team. He is demanding a trade. Pierce is 36 and is averaging career lows in every category. Ditto for Garnett (who is 37) who has been relegated to a role off the bench and he is mad about it. He is demanding a trade too. Allen is accepting a role off the bench with class.

At the end of 1, we are up 29-17. Turner and Villanueva with a big quarter. We will push hard the entire game this time..

At halftime, we are up 52-34. Turner is dominating. He has 15 points, 5 boards, and 3 assists. Villanueva with 11 points.

Holiday lands awkwardly early in the 3rd and he is hurt. Looks like his ankle.

At the end of 3, we are up 70-60. Turner needs to finish strong. Holiday has been cleared to return, but he has a sprained ankle that will slow him.

Ramos is going to get a few minutes as Turner rests to start the 4th.

With 9:30 to go, they make it 71-70. I bring back all of our starters.

Back and forth game, until Turner with a few drives inside causing a collapsing defense before he kicks it out to Kelley for back to back jumpers. We lead 86-81.

With 2:36 to go, Williams fouls out. Holiday back in.

We had a 10 point lead with 90 seconds left, but 2 turnovers by Holiday, a block by Dalembert and they are back in it with 34 seconds to go. Turner misses a 12 footer. They have a shot to tie with 13 seconds left..

91-89...

Wall breaks down a gimpy Holiday and hits a floater in the lane. Tied at 91 with 6 seconds left.

Turner brings it up court quickly, he is doubled, he finds Young for an open corner jumper.. he shoots.. and misses!

We are going with Turner, Young, Kelley, Jefferson, and Speights in OT.

Other than missing one of his FT's, Turner did almost everything perfect in OT including shutting down Wall.

We win 103-95.

Turner is the player of the game with a triple double - 30 points, 10 boards, 12 assists, 1 block, and 2 turnovers. He shot 11 of 22, 4 of 5, and 4 of 5.

Good stuff Eagle. I have been following along since the most recent draft. Every time I see you posted an update I go and play 2K11. I love seeing how much you have gotten Turner to grow since he was one of my favorite players to watch in college even though he played for my least favorite team.

For the Month of January, Durant and Rose won it. Marshall Samuel of Washington edged out Kelley for Rookie of the month in the East while Marcel Micoud of Utah won it for the 3rd straight month in the West.

The Magic approach me and offer me Dwight Howard for Holiday and Turner. We go back and forth on several counter offers, but they always insist on getting Turner which is a non-starter.

The same day the Celtics offer me Rondo straight up for Turner which I turn down.

Jefferson is back to 100% for this game against the Lakers.

Kobe and Turner going at it with each other early. We lead 26-24 at the end of 1. Turner with 12 points.

We are up 47-45 at half. Gasol is their leading scorer with 13. Turner has 18.

At the end of 3, we are up 70-69. Turner with 25 points, 5 boards, and 5 assists.

We open the 4th with a 11-0 run before they call time.

We turn that into a 15 point lead that we never give up.

We win the game 103-88.

Turner is the player of the game with 31 points, 14 assists, 8 boards, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. He also had 4 turnovers. He shot 12 of 24, 4 of 7, and 3 of 5.

Young with 15 points and 5 boards. Speights with 14 points, 8 boards, 3 assists, and 1 block.

Jefferson with 13 points, 11 boards, and 1 block. Holiday with 11 points, 13 assists, and 4 boards.

Murphy led the bench with 8 points and 4 boards. Villanueva with 5 points and 4 boards. Kelley with 4 points, 2 boards, 2 assists, and a block in 15 minutes. Ramos with 2 points.

Kobe ended up with 28 points, 4 boards, and 3 assists. He shot 12 of 29.

The Heat suffer another blow as they lose Wade to a broken bone in his foot for 4-6 weeks. Maybe they'll get a top draft pick..

The All-Stars have been announced:

East:

John Wall (1st appearance - does it mean as a starter?)

Evan Turner (1st appearance - I'm sure he was an All-star, must mean 1st as a starter.)

Josh Smith (4th appearance)

Amar'e (8th)

Dwight Howard (8th)

Bench:

Brandon Jennings (2nd), Owen Blake (1st), Danny Granger (3rd), Tyrus Thomas (2nd), Brook Lopez (3rd), Ty Lawson (1st), Gilbert Arenas (6th)

West:

Chris Paul (7th), Kobe (16th), Durant (5th), Carmelo (7th), and Al Jefferson (3rd.)

Bench:

Westbrook (4th), Tyreke Evans (3rd), Rudy Gay (1st), Donnie Hodges (2nd), Billy Crawford (1st), Andre Iguodala (2nd), and Deron Williams (5th.)

Holiday injures his ankle in practice and will miss 4-6 weeks

Turner will start at PG and Ramos will get a start at SG.

Feb 13th -

We play at home vs Orlando who are 17-36 despite having 2 All-Stars.

We beat them 105-102.

Turner with a great job at PG, 25 points, 10 assists, 7 boards, and 2 steals. He shot 5 of 9.

Young with 26 points and 8 boards. Speights with 18 points and 3 boards. Ramos with 10 points.

Jefferson with 7 points, 7 boards, and 2 blocks. Kelley with 3 points and 5 boards.

Feb 16th -

Our last game before the All-Star break is against the Knicks at home. They are 27-29.

The Cavs are 3.5 back, Bobcats 4 back, Raptors and Bulls both 4.5 back, Pistons 5 back, Wizards 7 back, Nets 11 back.

The Clippers try taking advantage of our PG situation by offering Toney Doglas for Villanueva and Madsen. I turn them down.

A lot of movement at the All-Star break!

The Spurs pull the trigger in shipping Tony Parker to Sacramento. In return, they get C Andris Biedrins and my former PF Craig Brackins.

The Hornets trade an unhappy David West along with Jarrett Jack to Memphis for an unhappy Josh Childress and Sam Young. Seems like Memphis just got even better!

The Magic fire Jim O'Brien and hire Keith Smart.

Now, we get to play at Sacramento in Tony Parker's first game there. Turner will get the job of shutting him down.
