now onto the offseason. first ill mention what i need.

i need a starting LB. i loaned a LB last year and i think hes a solid guy whom i could buy. but i also dont think he is a PL potential guy so i will look else where

i also need another fullback. my starting RB Brinkhurst has made noises about moving, luckily i got promoted so that should keep him quiet.. unless someone comes knocking for him. luckily i found a young Dan that looks real good, he will cost several million but hes already capable of being in the rotation. ill try to buy him

i need another winger. Renfrum is being sold for 1 million right as i type, he only fit into 1 formation i was using. i need a LW/AML player that can cover both those spots. i found one in fulham. i scouted him way back when he was in North Ireland but i was in the L1 and couldnt get him. he will cost 1.6+ million but im unsure if i can afford his wages. if i cant get him ill keep looking.

i also need a good GK. usually you can find one free so im hoping to find one in July. there is a Viking i could buy if i cant find a good one for free.

I could use a veteran striker and ill look for free players come july. MY CB and CM are fairly deep and solid, ill look to find young upgrades there but its not the financial priority.

ive found like 4-5 real young (16ish) youngsters in lower leagues and im eyeing buying some. some are real expensive but look like they couild become solid PL players


the board has given me 22 million in total to spend in salary and transfers for the 1st season. thats not much, im already spending 7.5 million so i have 14.5 million left

Crystal Palace (PL) came knocking for Charlie Frampton. 2.6 million and 275k after 10 goals. i dont think i can pass this up and he wants to talk to them also. hes almost maxed out and hasnt improved a whole lot last year. he playes the AMC in my 4-2-3-1 formation. i owe it to him to let him talk to Palace. i bought him for 150k from Skrill team Wimbeldon 5 seasons ago. now hes going to be playing in the PL for me or Palace

DR Brinkhurst. 3 seasons ago cost 850K. ive been eyeing 2 18 yo RB's that have massive potential but couldnt buy them yet

DC Thomas. 25K 3 seasons ago. he seems maxed out but still a solid DC

MC Campbell. 5 star prospect. i had to scour thru scouting reports to find him, my scout didnt even mention him to me probably because he would come to me until i got into the PL. he has stud written all over him. cost 4.5 million!


MC McCann. Academy prospect with lots of untapped potential. injuries slow him down, but he plays well and keeps improving


MC Nilsson. several PL teams came knocking for him, but i said no. he looks maxed out but a solid mentor and my best DM


MC/AL Merrick. bought him for 5k from a Skrill north club. now hes in the PL. hes a good rotation and versitile


AMLC Niskanen. 60k, one of my best players and versitile. 86 games, 14 goals and 16 assist


MR/AR Doherty. 100k hot prospect whos playeing better each year. tons of untapped potential, came back midseason and in 13 games got 2 goals and 7 assists

we scratch out a 1-0 victory of visiting Sunderland. DC Thelander scores from a setpeice

next up we visit Man United. well gotta get theis ass whoopin out of the way. we lose 4-2 and my defenders get creamed. Niskanen scores bothe goals for us

we sit 9th place after 2 game.

League Cup has us visiting L1 team Swindon

we start off slow and are tied at 70 min. i make changes and we score 2 more for an easy win 3-1. pilia scores and young newboy Keenan gets a goal and assist late. he could become a good player, but he needs mentoring. only 3 determination. hes getting mentored by Omar whos still on the team for mentoring purposes

during this transfer window i made some more moves. along with the 3 guys i brought in earlier, i sold defenders Fabio and Thomas. thomas wasnt improving and was a marginal PL defender. fabio was playing like shit so he had to go. i set a price of 500k on thomas seeing if anyone would buy him and they did.

i also put a price on dmc Nilsson to see if someone would bite and they did, a german club bought him. he was getting less play time and was now in a crowded midfield.

i bought another CD, American McFarlane. he isnt the fastest but he will be a good solid PL defender. he cost me a record 7 million dollars

i brought in veteran striker Soldado. his physical skills are declining but he has monster mental attributes and will make a great mentor

my director of football bought a young RB from Middlesbrough who looks like a good youngster, he got loaned back to them as part of the deal

quick update on the preseason.

june 11th

teams have already sniffed around RB Brinkhurt, LB/RB Bateman and winger Doherty and ST Purcell

ill put prices on 3 of them, Bateman is now more expendable due to my reserve players. Doherty just signed a new contract after i rebuffed an advance from another team. while i like Brink because he was a personal signing, hes already made noises about moving 2 times the last 3 seasons and he appears maxed out. hes a good RB and backup CB, but he can be moved now that i bought



this guy. i got him for "free". well he did cost 650k in bonuses and agent fee. scouts think he has tons of room to grow

i put a price of 1 million on Purcell, he didnt have a great season for me and im willing to listen to offers for him
st Mark paul was loaned out all last season and he developed, but he doesnt look like he will be signed to a new contract for me and i will let him move on
