I started the dynasty with the default roster at the start of the preseason. I will do a quick recap of the important happenings from around the league.

Trades:

The first trade was Miami trading Mario Chalmers to San Antonio for Tiago Splitter.

I simulated the preseason and can report that no one got injured. Starting tomorrow the first season will begin and I will actually get to start formatting the dynasty how I would like.

I like seeing the stats and a summary of our situation. Maybe for those playing higher minutes, an additional line detailing a big game if they have a triple double or hit a season/career high for a major stat category in a game?

Congratulations to Jawouk for snagging a rookie of the month award. Pretty sweet to get that this quickly.

On the 26th of the month he blocked 3 shots in a 103-95 win against Memphis. On the 31st he has a career high 5 turnovers in a 119-133 loss to the Thunder.
  • Mike also stubbed his finger and was limited for three days during the month, but was able to not miss anytime due to the injury.

  • Jace had the best rebounding game of his career, grabbing 11 rebounds in a 98-96 loss to Cleveland.

  • Jawouk's best game of the month came on the 25th of the month against division leading Miami Heat. He responded with a monster 35 point, 18 rebound, 3 assist, 2 block, a steal, and no turnover game. Thanks to Jawouk's performance the Magic prevailed 111-108.
  • In the Miami game Jawouk scored a career high in points, pulled down a career high in rebounds, attempted a career high 21 shots, while making a career high 15 of them.
  • Jawouk was once again rookie of the month in the East.

So far Jawouk has been an absolute beast for Orlando. It has been hard to pick out a top game most of the time for him. It stinks that Hutt was the only rookie in our group to not make the rookie game.
