My Fear - Playing Old Dames Too Much

One of my fears at reaching middle age is to move to redo things I've always done rather than push myself into new:

1. Reading old posts on FOFC almost exclusively
2. Watch old movies I;ve already seen more frequently. Ditto TV shows
3. Reclean my old trout more frequently


4. And...

Re-playing old dames. How often do y'all go back?


This year I've played only a small subset of new dames, I find myself re-playing older dames much more frequently:

1. In the past year I've played:

A. The dame at the grocery store
B. The dame on the street for the third time
C. The dames at the grocery store each twice, for the 4th and 5th time.
D. The dames in my fantasies


My playing previously devoured newer dames, and I would play a dame religiously for hours on end, and play one or two a week, sometimes fewer if she really grabbed me. I haven't done that in a year. I feel like I have middle aged dames.


How do you spend your time with the dames? Are you doing what I am doing now and redoing older dames with the majority of your playing time? Or are you still doing a lot of newer dames?
