Raiders Dynasty

I am going to start off a dynasty with the raiders with the most recent download. I am not using any house rules but I am trying to build with a sustainable success model. I will be primarily building through the draft, only signing free agents to fill in holes and generally looking for bargains there. Most of my salary cap will go to retaining talent that I develop and I will usually try to keep my successful pick as long as they have value.

The first thing I looked at when I opened my new file was to see if I had a QB to work with in Derek Carr. He looks like everything I could need there. 23/63 overall points to a likely bumpy first year but better days to come.

His strengths include 30/89 read defense, 32/86 medium passes, 18/72 short passes, and 32/82 accuracy.

His weak points a 6/18 timing and 11/34 deep passes.

He also already knows 11 formations including a couple 2 TE sets and 4 extra WR sets.

I am going to have to find weapons to put around him but he looks like a great building block.

My other major rookie to look at is obviously Khalil Mack. The 5th overall pick looks to have all pro potential, 53/85. He is an elite run defender, 60/98, with the endurance to play all game, 88/94, and is a great hitter. 84. His coverage ability is his biggest weakness though it should become very good, Man 35/78, zone 32/70, bump 56/77.

He should allow us to have good coverage on most tight ends and also be strong against the run.

Looking over the roster as a hole there are strengths and weaknesses but we certainly have some building blocks.

QB: We already went over our starter. 34 overall Matt Schaub and 12/22 Matt McGloin offer essentially nothing as backups.

RB: A position of strength but an aging position. Starter Maurice Jones-Drew is a 58 overall with 83 breakaway speed and 72 hole recognition but is in his 9th year. 57 overall backup Darren McFadden is in his 7th year and has the same strengths with 94 breakaway and 90 hole recognition but is limited to inside running with just 22 speed to the outside. Lataius Murray, 19/21, has 86 breakaway speed but 0 power inside, avoid drops, and 3rd down catching. UDFA Leonardo Unverzagt, 27/45, was signed to add some depth with power inside, 42, and hole recognition, 16/56.

FB: Another aging but solid position, 7th year pro Marcel Reece, 59, is a good pass catcher, 85 avoid drop 71 route running, and a strong runner, 71 power inside. He is only decent as a blocker, 45 run blocking 43 blocking strength. 3rd year backup Jamize Olawale, 14/18, does not look like he will make the team.

TE: Seeing the bleak prospects we had here I went out and added UDFA TE Jacob Lieberman, 27/45. While he is likely currently overrated by my staff he looks like a consistent pass catcher, 27/52 avoid drops, 39/61 getting downfield, 28/59 route running, even though he won’t make big plays, 15 big play receiving. Of the others on the roster the most likely starter was Mychal Rivera, 23/35, who is tough over the middle, 46/63 courage, and on third downs 44/67. He makes a lot of drops 0/1 and is a weak route runner, 10/14, though. 4th year man David Ausberry, 23/32, is the veteran of the team and is decent getting downfield, 30/47, and adjusting to throws, 39/60, but is mid 20s and 30s elsewhere. Brian Leonhardt, 15/35, and Nick Kasa, 11/13, will be unlikely to make the team.

WR: 8th year FA signing James Jones, 61, offers a big play threat, 88, with great ball skills, 95 adjust, who doesn’t drop passes, 87. He also has some punt return value, 56. On the other side Rod Streater, 36/47, offers a pure big play threat, 84, but struggles getting downfield, 6/8, and with endurance, 16/23. UDFA Archie Kenworthy, 26/47, was brought in to challenge him. He is consistent avoiding drops, 25/61, and making plays on 3rd downs, 42/61. Denarius Moore, 34/37, is good getting downfield, 74 but cannot run routes, 0, and avoids the middle , 23 courage. Andre Holmes, 28/39, and Brice Butler, 24/29, look to fight for the last spot.

C: Stefen Wisniewski, 45/57, is in his 4th year and is a good run blocker, 40/70, but not a great pass blocker, 29/34. 9th year pro Kevin Boothe, 37/46, is a solid backup but still not a pass protector, 6/10.

LG: This is a serious position of need. Projected starter Austin Howard, 25/26, has great strength, 81, but is a terrible run, 14/18, and pass, 0, blocker. 3rd round pick Gabe Jackson, 17/23, is worse as a run blocker, 2/4, but is a decent pass blocker, 30/44.

RG: Projected Starter Tony Bergstrom, 25/34, is a decent run, 33/42, and pass, 26/48, blocker but lacks strength, 14. UDFA Jalen Cox, 18/47, was brought in to challenge and looks like he has potential, run blocking 15/57, pass 6/54.

LT: Another hole, 8th year man Donald Penn, 36, brings solid strength, 63. 3rd year pro Matt McCants, 15/18 and UDFA Damien Flannery, 21/47, will fight for the backup spot.

RT: Last year’s 2nd rounder, Menelik Watson, 26/37, should be the starter here which is sad. 10th year man Khalif Barnes, 19, and UDFA Don Wardzala, 18/46 will fight to back him up

Specialists: Our one area of strength, our kicker Sebastian Janikowski, 77, has a huge leg, 86 power, but is a 15 year vet. 3rd year punter Marquette King, 69/75, has a huge leg, 83/85 power.

LE: LaMarr Woodley, 56, should be a solid end for an 8th year pro. His best move is his bull rush, 63 rush strength. He is backed up by 7th round pick Shelby Harris, 24//42, who is a good technique rusher, 25/56, and by UDFA Ashton Lowe, 22/53, who is best against the run, 24/79. 2nd year man Benson Mayowa, 12/16, will likely be cut.

RE: Justin Tuck, 66, in his 10th year is a great finesse rusher, 78 technique, and a hard hitter, 85. UDFA Tracy Schofer, 27/51, looks like a well rounded pass rusher, 72 strength, 21/58 technique. 5th year end CJ Wilson, 25/28, will have a struggle to make the team.

LDT: Pat Simms, 36, is the current pick to start. He is smart, 80 diagnosis, but struggles against the run, 20. 4th round rookie Justin Ellis, 31/37, offers much the same, 90 diagnosis, 15/28 run defense. UDFA Butch Summers, 21/54 is a complete wildcard but is a good all around pass rusher, 18/72 technique, 40 strength, and is solid against the run, 12/56.

RDT: This is another aging spot with 11th year man Antonio Smith, 53. He is undersized at 6’3” 274 lbs but is a great inside finesse rusher, 100. 2nd year man Stacy McGee, 31/49, and UDFA Joey Stargell, 29/48, will fight for the backup spot. McGee is the better rusher, 42/78 technique, 41 strength, while Stargell is better against the run, 28/68.

MLB: Nick Roach, 33, is a great pass rusher from the spot, 85 technique, but struggles against the run, 25. UDFA Jarge Devine, 15/47, shows promise as a smart, 20/63 diagnosis, run stopper, 15/65. 6th year backer Kaluka Maiava, 22/27, will struggle to make it. Miles Burris, 31/51, also moved over from WLB and brings hard hitting, 67, run defense, 35/65.

SLB: We already discussed Khalil Mack. Kaelin Burnett, 18/21, is his backup so Mack better stay healthy.

WLB: Sio Moore, 47/64, could be a great WLB. He is a hard hitter, 83, and a great pass rusher, 58/80 technique, 82 strength. UDFA Bojay Filimoeatu, 16/34, offers little as a backup.

LCB: DJ Hayden, 59/67, is good in zone, 56/81, and bump, 94 coverage as well as having great ball skills, 94 interception. He struggles in man to man however, 18/22. Carlos Rogers, 45, s a well rounded backup. 4th rounder Keith McGill, 36/52, is also great in zone, 50/81, and struggles in man, 7/15. UDFA Bernie Cullors, 29/55, is more well rounded. 7th rounder Travis Carrie, 23/25, and 4th year man Taiwan Jones, 21/31, likely won’t make the team.

RCB: 8th year pro Tarell Brown, 51, is a physical run support, 68, corner with good press skills, 60. Chimdi Chekwa, 23/36, is a good press cover, 54/74, backup. UDFA Joseph Fender, 25/53, is great in press, 44/80, and solid in man, 16/64. Neiko Thorpe, 15/16, does not belong in this league.

SS: Usama Young, 32/35, is good in run support, 76, bu terrible in zone, 0/1, and press,0, coverage and at making picks, 0. Tyvon Branch, 33, is more well rounded.

FS: Somehow Charles Woodson, 45, is still playing at 37 years old and is a well rounded safety. Jonathan Dowling, 4/14, could currently be the worst player in the league and the 7th round pick likely wont make it. UDFA Reginald Hawkins, 17/49, looks like he could be a very smart safety, 31/76 diagnosis.

LS: Jon Condo, 14, is a solid longsnapper, 68.

Preseason:

Week 1: Matt Schaub went 10-12 for 99 yards and a score and Derek Carr went 6-8 for 52 and led a scoring drive as we won our opener 10-6. Also, our line stepped up and only allowed 1 sack while we recorded 3.

Week 2: We, again, came out on top this time 34-31 over Detroit. After they quickly went up 28-7 on a pair of passes from Matt Stafford and another pair from Kellen Moore DJ Hayden returned a pick 61 yards for a score. In the 2nd half Matt McGloin took over going 6-9 for 102 yards and 2 scores, 1 to each of the starting wide receivers.

Week 3: For the 3rd straight week we won, this time beating the Packers 31-27. Archie Kenworthy made 3 catches on 3 targets racking up 36 yards and 2 TDs and schaub went 14-19 for 112 yards and 3 scores. Darren McFadden ran 20 times for 102 yards.

Week 4: We finished the preseason undefeated beating the Seahawks 20-13. Robert Turbin was player of the game though, racking up 143 yards on 27 carries including 6 that topped 10 yards and adding 4 grabs for 28 yards. On our side Derek Carr went 8-15 for 113 yards and a score

Our draft ended up worse than we had hoped. Derek Carr dropped to a 22/54 and Khalil Mack is now a 55/73. A fair number of UDFAs stayed above 40 though which was nice.

In the last preseason game a pair of UDFAs who were set to make an impact got hurt and went on IR. TE Jacob Lieberman, who had won the starting TE spot tore his rotator cuff, and MLB Jorge Devine, who looked like a solid backup MLB, is set to miss 51 weeks with reconstructive knee surgery.

Corner Bernie Cullors, another UDFA who maintained a decent rating, will miss 8 weeks with a broken arm.

Also, as we enter week 1, backup C Kevin Boothe is doubtful for 2 weeks with a pulled calf, backup QB Matt McGloin is questionable for 1 week with a viral infection, backup MLB Nick Roach is questionable for 2 weeks with a hyperextended elbow, LS Jon Condo is probable for 3 weeks with a strained rotator cuff, FB Marcel Reece is probable 1 week with a sprained thumb, and backup FS Reginald Hawkins is probable 1 week with knee tendinitis.

We enter week 1 traveling to face the Raiders led by QB Geno Smith. They are 6 point favorites over us thanks to having way better teams on both sides in the trenches.

We came out and scored quickly and a big 2nd quarter with a pair of Derek Carr TD throws had us entering halftime with a 20-7 lead. We slowed down in the 2nd half but a good late 4th drive set us up to win it 23-21 on a 28 yard FG which Janikowski drilled.

Carr went 21/29 for 254 yards and 2 scores while MJD ran 24 times for 76 yards. Denarius Moore led the team with 74 yards on his 3 grabs while Streater added 2 grabs for 46 and a score and Archie Kenworthy caught a 9 yard score.

The Jets did their damage on the ground as Chris Johnson ran 20 times for 124 yards and a score and Bilal Powell added 5 for 19 and a score. Geno Smith was just 15/29 for 123 yards with a TD and a pick.

Sio Moore led the team with 8 tackles and LaMarr Woodley racked up 2.5 sacks. DJ Hayden also had a pick.

Week 2 we are facing a Houston team that was the worst in the league last year. Despite that and the game being in Oakland we are an 11 point underdog.

We do look healthier this week. Bernie Cullors is still out 7 weeks and Kevin Boothe is upgraded to questionable for the nest 2. Darren McFadden, our number 2 back, is questionable for 2 weeks with a viral infection. Jon Condo, our longsnapper is probable the next 2 weeks with a strained rotator cuff and backup MLB Nick Roach is probable this week with a hyperextended elbow.

This week we are actually expected to win on the defensive side in the trenches but they own the rest of the matchups there.

Despite the 11 point prediction this was a very close contest. A pair of MJD touchdowns were all he scoring in the 1st quarter but they answered ith 24 straight including a couple big strikes to Andre Johnson. Charles Woodson made it a 3 point game again though, in the 3rd, with a 47 yard pick 6. Andre Johnson pushed the lead to 30-21 with another long score where they missed the XP. With 2 minutes left we cut it to a 2 point game on an 80 yard play by James Jones but they ended up running the clock out.

Derek Carr went 22/30 for 200 yards with a TD and a pick and MJD added 62 on the ground on 14 carries and scored twice. James Jones caught 6 passes on 8 targets racking up 116 yards and a TD.

Ryan Fitzpatrick was effecient going 23/28 for 266 yards with 4 TDs and a pick and added 30 yards on 7 carries. Arian Foster ran 13 times for 65 yards and added 17 and a score on 3 catches but the real difference was Andre Johnson with 7 grabs on 10 targets gaining 141 yards and 3 TDs.

Charles Woodson and Kaelin Burnet each had 9 tackles and woodson had the pick 6. Justin Tuck added 2 sacks and 2 hurries and the team also forced and recovered a pair of fumbles.

Week 3 we are facing an 0-2 New England squad. With us on the road we are a 3 point underdog but this is the closest they have projected us so far.

Bernie Cullors is still out facing another 6 weeks injured. Marcel Reece sprained a knee ligament and is questionable for the next 8 weeks. Rookie Khalil Mack is also questionable for he next 3 weeks with a sprained knee. Darren Mcfadden is probable this week with his viral infection and LS Jon Condo is still probable 1 more week with his strained rotator cuff.

They are projected the better team in all phases of the game except special teams so this may not go so great.

They took the game over pretty quick scoring 2 straight TDs. We answered with a 10 point 2nd quarter but were blanked 20-0 in the 2nd half leading to a 34-10 loss.

Derek Carr went 13/23 for 132 yards with a TD and a pick and Schaub when he came in went 2/5 for 22 yards. MJD was held to 36 yards on 17 carries and 13 of those came on 1 run. He did make a 15 yard TD catch though. James Jones led the team with 35 yards on 2 grabs. Jones, MJD, and Carr each had a fumble though.

Tom Brady went 22/28 for 321 and 3 scores and a pick. Shane Vereen racked up 87 yards on 14 carries and Stevan Ridley had 71 on 26 with a td and caught 7 passes on 7 targets for 48 and a score. Rob Gronkowski added 5 grabs for 103 and a TD and Brandon LaFell had 3 for 81 and a score.

Sio Moore had 14 tackles and Tyvon Branch added 13. DJ Hayden added in a pick but as a team we had 3 hurries and no sacks compared to 4 hurries, 7 knockdowns, 2 blocked passes, and 6 sacks by the Patriots.

Week 4 we get to host a 3-0 Miami squad expected to beat us by 8 points. Led by a great DLine with Cameron Wake, 92, Jared Odrick, 63, Randy Starks, 61, and Dion Jordan, 54, they look to be a challenge even with Matt Moore, 25/36, as their QB.

We are pretty healthy this week. Backup corner Bernie Cullors is still out 5 more weeks with his broken arm and FB Marcel Reece and SLB Khalil Mack are still questionable for 7 and 2 weeks respectively with their knee injuries.

Miami started the game on point scoring the first 27 points over the course of almost 3 full quarters while holding us scoreless. With under 2 minutes left in the 3rd we finally got a FG and then early in the 4th Schaub hit Denarius Moore for a 46 yard score on which we missed the 2 point try before they added a pointless FG with 2 minutes left to win 30-9.

Derek Carr had his worst game as a starter going 9/26 for 55 yards and a pick and was sacked 6 times. Matt Schaub did better going 14/21 for 190 with a TD and a pick. MJD ran 11 times gaining just 13 yards and was the team's top rusher. He also lost a fumble. Denarius Moore caught 4 passes for 61 yards and a score.

Matt Moore went just 10/20 for 132 yards but did throw 2 TDs. Lamar Miller ran 30 times for 170 yards and a TD. Brian Hartline caught 4 passes for 40 yards and a TD and Charles Clay caught 2 for 19 and a score.

Khalil Mack led the defense with 12 tackles and a sack. Cameron Wake led the other team with 5 tackles, 2.5 sacks a blocked pass, a hurry, 2 knockdowns, and a fumble recovery though.

Week 5 we have a bye week. This should help us get even healthier.

Week 6 we are finally a favorite facing a 1-4 San Diego team in Oakland. Led by QB Philip Rivers, 65, and safety Eric Weddle, 78, they should be the better team but we are given a 3 point edge.

Bernie Cullors was upgraded to Doubtful this week but I am leaving him out. Marcel Reece still has 5 weeks as probable with his knee injury.

Despite the media view that this could be a close game it was over from the start as San Diego rushed out to a 28-3 half time lead and ended up burying us 35-13 with 7 of those points coming in the 4th quarter with Matt McGloin at QB.

Derek Carr went 16/24 for 127 yards and a pick and lost 2 fumbles. Matt McGloin went 12/26 for 113 and a score. MJD ran 14 times for 42 yards and DMC added 9 for 37. Archie Kenworthy had 17 targets out of nowhere and caught 11 passes for 113 yards and a score.

Philip Rivers went 18/29 for 147 with 3 TDs and a pick and Donald Brown ran 16 times for 45 yards. Keenan Allen caught 8 passes for 104 yards and a score while Danny Woodhead added 2 for 6 and a score and Seyi Ajirotutu caught 2 for 20 and a score.

Charles Woodson had a pick for our side while Khalil Mack racked up 8 tackles and Justin Tuck recorded a sack.

Week 7 we are facing a 2-3 Arizona team favored by 8 points on our field. They have an especially strong defensive backfield led by corner Patrick Peterson, 84.

Every time someone gets healthy it seems we lost another. Rod Streater broke his foot and is out 3 weeks. Archie Kenworthy will take his starting spot. Bernie Cullors is now active and questionable with 2 weeks left Marcel Reece has 4 probable weeks left.

Despite scoring first on a James Jones 7 yard grab we once again can't hold up. We did narrow it as close as 21-17 in the 3rd but they won 38-17.

Derek Carr was decent going 19/31 for 199 and 2 scores but he did throw 2 picks. MJD ran 19 times for 49 yards. Archie Kenworthy led the squad with 5 grabs for 47 yards and Jones added 4 for 43 and a score.

Carson Palmer lit us up going 22/28 for 322 and 4 scores with 1 pick. Jonathan Dwyer ran 26 times for 78 yards. Larry Fitzgerald caught all 8 of his targets for 143 yards and 3 TDs and John Brown added 2 for 30 and a score.

Carlos Rogers, our nickle corner, led the team with 9 tackles and Charles woodson had a pick while Justin Tuck added 2 sacks and 2 knockdowns.

Week 8 we are 9 point underdogs traveling to face a 2-4 cleveland squad. They are tough though, led by rookie QB Johnny Manziel, 32/56, and 2 offensive lineman and 1 defensive over 80 overall.

Rod Streater was upgraded to Questionable and will play in a limited role this week. LS Jon Condo with a sprained ankle with be probable for 2 weeks. Bernie Cullors is on his last week as probable and Marcel reece has 2 weeks left.

Cleveland controlled this game scoring a rushing TD in each of the first 3 quarters while we were held to a late FG in a 21-3 loss.

Derek Carr was erratic going 12/29 for 139 yards and being sacked 5 times. MJD ran 10 times for 23 yards but Marcel Reece was able to break a couple runs toting the rock 4 times for 44 yards. James Jones led the way with just 4 grabs on 11 targets for 52 yards.

Manziel went 16/29 for 176 yards and ran 5 times for 47 yards and a score. Ben Tate ran 20 times for 130 yards and Isaiah Crowell add 62 on 11 carries and 2 scores. Jordan Cameron was their top pass catcher with 6 grabs on 12 tries and 56 yards.

Tyvon Branch had 10 tackles and Sio Moore had 9 While Justin Tuck and DJ Hayden each had a sack.

In week 9 we have to travel to play the defending champion Seattle Seahawks. They are an 8 point favorite led by QB Russell Wilson, 52/79, RB Marshawn Lynch, 78, and the Legion Of Boom led by Richard Sherman, 83, and Earl Thomas, 70.

We are pretty healthy though. Rod Streater is still questionable and will still have his role limited being 2 weeks from full strength. Marcel Reece also has 2 weeks left and Jon Condo has 1.

After those 2 close games to start the season we are falling apart this time getting beaten 20-3 by the Seahawks as we gained just 178 yards of offense and 9 first downs including 1 by penalty.

Derek Carr struggled against the Legion Of Boom going 16/30 for 154 yards and a pick 6. MJD was beaten down running 15 times for just 26 yards. Archie Kenworthy was again one of our top offensive players with 4 grabs for 61 yards.

Russell Wilson went 16/28 for 170 yards and a TD and a pick but their running game dominated. Marshawn Lynch ran 31 times for 166 yards with 5 over 10 yards and Robert Turbin racked up 62 on 10 carries. Luke Wilson caught 3 passes for 70 yards.

Justin Tuck had 11 tackles while Khalil Mack added 9 with a pick. Lamar Woodley and Miles Burris each had a sack.

In week 10 we face last year's superbowl runners up in a division contest. Denver is projected just an 8 point favorite but between our recent struggles and Payton Manning, 78, and Demaryius Thoman, 70, I doubt this will be that close.

Marcel Reece tore his Lateral Knee Ligament and was placed on IR. Luke Subramanian, 21/40, was signed in his place to start at FB. 3 guys are probable with 1 week until healthy. Jon Condo, our LS with a sprained ankle, WR Rod Streater with a broken foot, and QB Derek Carr with an Elbow Contusion.

Denver starts it off with a pair of Wes Welker TD grabs to just a FG by us but then Rod Streater brings us back into it with a 97 yard kick return. They seperate a bit before the half going up 7 on a 26 yard FG. On the opening drive of the 2nd half though, Charles Woodson picks up a fumble and scores from 46 yards out to tie the game. TDs are then exchanged, one on a manning to caldwell pass and one on a Carr to MJD pass. They take a 4th quarter lead on a FG but then we get one from 21 yards as time expires. Overtime is back and forth until with just 28 seconds left they finally seal it with another FG kick winning 30-27.

This was a very close game despite them out gaining us 613 to 290 and running 99 plays to our 66. It was largely our 3 forced turnovers that made it a game.

Derek Carr went 17/29 for 150 yards and a TD While MJD ran 23 times for 92 yards and caught 2 passes for 22 yards and a score. James Jones had just 5 grabs on 11 tries but led the team with 56 yards.

Peyton Manning went 46/66 for 484 yards with 3 TDs and 2 picks and led the team with 54 yards on carries. Montee Ball ran 12 times for 44 yards. Wes Welker caught 11 passes for 128 yards and 2 scores. Andre Caldwell was the most targeted seeing 20 tries making 11 grabs for 107 and a score and Demaryius Thomas added 7 for 103.

Week 11 we will face San Diego for the 2nd time and they have bounced back from a weak start and are now 4-5 and a 7 point favorite. Meanwhile we are 1 of 4 1 win teams, 2 in our division.

Leonardo Unverzagt, our 3rd back, pulled his groin and is questionable for 2 weeks. C Stefen Wisniewski sprained his ankle and is probable 2 weeks and FB Luke Subramanian strained a quad and is probable 3 weeks.

Also, now that we are into the second half of the season I am going to get some contracts done. Punter Marquette King was signed to a 4 year deal making him 9.8 million dollars. As one of the best punters in the league he is worth that.

4 year center Stefen Wisniewski is our one good lineman so we went ahead and gave him 12.2 million over 3 years including 2.2 guaranteed.

Miles Burris, our starting MLB, is in his 3rd year and we gave him 4 million over the next 3 years including half a million guaranteed.

The notables remaining unsigned are Rod Streater, a starting WR 42/54 overall he has not preformed so far this year with just 216 yards. He has been solid as a return man but is requesting a 15 million dollar deal. Charles Woodson is too old and Tarell Brown is aging as well in our number 2 corner spot. Slot receiver Denarius Moore, 36/39, is also asking more than he is worth.

San Diego comes out and destroys us 33-6 as we turned the ball over 4 times and put it on the ground 3 other times.

Derek Carr went 20/36 for 157 yards with 2 picks and 2 fumbles. MJD ran 10 times for 31 yards and 2 fumbles. James Jones caught 9 passes for 77 yards.

Philip Rivers went 23/35 for 207 yards and 3 scores with just 1 pick. Donald Brown ran 17 times for 133 yards and caught 3 passes for 10 yards and a score. Keenan Allen caught 6 passes for 67 yards and 2 scores.

Khalil Mack led the way with 10 tackles and justin tuck had a sack while Tyvon Branch made a pick.

Week 12 we finally get to face the other 1 win team from our division, Kansas City, in our house but they are a 1 point favorite. Linebackers Justin Houston, 83, and Derrick Johnson, 81, make their defense one to watch out for.

One week after signing an extension Stefen Wisniewski hurts his ankle again and requires surgery. He went on IR and C Edgar Blassingame, 10/31, was signed to backup Kevin Boothe who will now start. Leonardo Unverzagt as 1 weak left and Luke Subramanian as 2. Both are probable.

Facing a fellow 1 win team we had great hope when DJ Hayden returned a pick 23 yards for a score just 29 seconds in. When, 5 minutes later, we added a 56 yard FG all was good. They did get a TD to close the gap but Carr hit Denarius Moore for a 20 yard score of our own with 2:52 left in the half to push the lead back to 10. In those last minutes though Jamaal Charles broke a 73 yard run and then they got a stop and a FG to tie the score. The 3rd quarter was slow until Donnie Avery game them the lead on a 3 yard catch. We jumped out in the 4th with a FG and then a 2 yard DMC run and it looked like we may hold on until their last drive. Set up for a FG to tie facing a 3rd and goal from the 12 they ran a draw and Charles made it into the endzone to put it away 31-27.

Carr went 18/27 for 194 and a score. MJD gained just 31 yards on 14 carries but DMC added 21 on 7 and a TD. Rod Streater caught 7 balls for 88 yards and Moore added 2 for 45 and a score.

Alex Smith went 25/45 for 193 with 2 TDs and a pick. Charles was their offense though running 20 times for 174 yards and 2 scores and catching 3 passes for 46 yards. Dwayne Bowe caught 5 for 51 and a score and Avery added 4 for 25 and a score.

Khalil Mack racked up 11 tackles and Hayden had a pick but we did not record a sack.

In week 13 3-8 St Louis is a 6 point favorite as we visit them. They have a great defensive line but their QB, Sam Bradford, 28/36, is a weak point.

We made it through the week with little to report in the way of injuries. Subramanian has 1 week left and starting LT Donald Penn broke his finger. He is probable for 2 weeks.

As has became typical we were dominated, this time 28-13.

Derek Carr went 14/26 for 179 with a TD and 2 picks. MJD ran 23 times for 67 yards. Denarius Moore caught 3 passes for 117 yards including a 98 yard score.

Sam Bradford went 21/34 for 213 with 2 TDs and 2 picks. Zac Stacy ran 16 times for 97 yards and a score. Tavon Austin caught 5 passes for 68 yards while pettis added 3 for 44 and a TD and Kenny Britt added 2 for 14 and a TD.

Sio Moore led the way with 10 tackles and a sack and Justin Tuck and Justin Ellis each added 1.5 sacks. Woodson and Branch each had a pick.

Week 14 we host the 49ers, a 5-7 team only expected to beat us by 3. Their LBs, especially Aldon Smith, 86, and Patrick Willis, 82 are elite.

Donald Penn is probable 1 more week and makes up our injury report.

Again we are beaten by multiple scores, this time 17-6.

Derek Carr went 12/26 for 126 yards. MJD managed just 28 yards on 18 carries. James Jones did rack up 75 yards on 4 grabs.

Colin Kaepernick went 16/23 for 212 yards with 2 scores and a pick. Marcus Lattimore ran 31 times for 68 yards and Michael Crabtree grabbed 8 passes for 87 yards and 2 scores.

Miles Burries racked up 12 tackles and Justin Ellis added a sack. DJ Hayden made a pick.

Week 15 we are now a 4 point underdog to the chiefs.

Jacob Lieberman, while on IR, has started recovering and is listed as doubtful. Charles Woodson broke his nose and is probable 2 weeks. Reginald Hawkins sprained his ankle and is probable 1 week.

We played the chiefs close again with James Jones scoring first. They owned the 2nd quarter as both Jamaal Charles and Travis Kelce caught TD passes and in the 4th we each added a FG as they won 17-10.

Derek Carr went 21/36 for 238 yards and a score. MJD gained just 21 yards on 13 carries, we realy need a line. Rod Streater caught 6 passes for 91 yards and James jones added 4 for 8 and a TD.

Alex Smith was 16/29 for 202 with 2 scores and a pick. Charles ran 25 times or 85 yards and caught 4 passes for 22 and a score. Travis Kelce caught 4 for 118 and a score.

Khalil Mack racked up 11 tackles while Antonio Smith had 1.5 sacks and Justin Ellis and Miles Burris each had 1. Tyvon Branch had a pick.

Week 16 we are hosting the Bills who at 8-6 are an 11 point favorite. With 2 of the top DTs in the league, Kyle Williams, 91, and Marcell Dareus, 89, they could be a tough squad.

The injury report is quick this week, just Charles Woodson, probable 1 week.

We jumped to a quick lead with a FG but them they scored 2 TDs in a row to take control. Each team added a FG to that to make it 17-6 at the half. We did come back with 3 straight FGs but they added another late to win 20-15.

Derek Carr went 18/31 for 236 and a pick. MJD ran 21 times for 41 yards. Rod Streater gained 62 yards on just 3 grabs on 9 targets.

Kyle Orton went 18/24 for 154 and a TD. CJ Spiller ran 27 times for 110 yards and a score. Sammie Watkins caught 5 balls for 45 yards and a TD.

Khalil Mack racked up 13 tackles but we could not create pressure or any picks.

Week 17 we wrap up the season in Denver facing an 11 point favorite.

Menelik Watson is probable with a broken hand and Mychal Rivera is probable with a deep thigh bruise.

Even with Manning sitting this late season game they jumped out to a 13-0 lead. We did get a FG to cut it to 13-3 before the half and another right after the half. They responded with a Montee Ball TD run to push it to 2 scores but in the 4th we added a pair of FGs to cut it to 8 and then with 3:2 left Carr found Andre Holmes for a 29 yard score. We got the stop and Carr hit James Jones for a 63 yard game winner with 29 seconds left.

Carr went 24/39 for 329 and 2 scores. MJD ran 19 times for 66 yards. James Jones caught 2 passes for 108 and a TD and Holmes added 1 for 29 and a score.

Brock Osweiler went 27/38 for 271 and a TD and a pick. Montee Ball ran 13 times for 66 yards and a score and Demaryius Thomas caught 9 passes for 134 yards.

Justin Tuck racked up 9 tackles and 2 sacks while Charles Woodson had a pick and Tyvon Branch forced and recovered a fumble.

Staff Draft:
We are in the 30th spot so this will be tough for us. In the head coach draft noone made a change ahead of us and I made the first change going with 50 year old OLine specialist Gregory Osiecki who is very strong in player development, scouting, discipline, and play calling.

On the offensive side of the ball we upgraded to Herman Rivera, another 50 year old coach who is great at scouting, interviewing, intelligence, and young talent.

At DC we took a little lower end guy, 1 point lower than our current for suitable, to get a guy great at scouting, interviewing, and intelligence.

As an assistant we went with Scottie Henson, a 43 year old OLine coach great with young talent and playcalling.

We retained Denzel Ledford as our strength coordinator as he was the most suitable by a long ways.

We enter free agency with 54 million dollars to spend and aside from a couple UDFAs no one to resign.

We makes offers to a short list of guys who we feel could fill in if we cannot improve each position through the draft.

Lance Kendricks: At 42/45 he is the 5th TE on the board and asking about a 3rd of what the 4 in front of him are but his 81 route running and 54/63 3rd down catching would give us a huge upgrade. Our initial offer is 3.5 over 2 years.

Brandon Gibson: We offered him 6 million over 2 years. He is just a 47 overall but with 78 big play receiving he is a guy we could get a few touches to and have him work well.

Orlando Franklin: at 40/42 he is not a great guard but would be our 2nd best lineman. We offered him 5.5 over 3 years as a placeholder.

Brandon Brooks: a 4th year guard from the Texans, at 45/48 overall we offered him 7 million over 4 years.

Gabe Carimi: A RT from Atlanta at 43/47 would be a starter. We offered him 5.8 over 3 years.

Terrell McClain: a 5th year DT, 43 overall, we offered him 3 million over 2 years.

Mason Foster: rated 65 he seems like a bargain for a 5th year MLB at 5.5 over 3 years.

Chris Culliver: At 44 overall he is a good man cover corner who is asking 6.7 over 3 years. He could be a solid number 2 corner.

Tavon Wilson: at 38/42 he is far from a great FS but for 4.3 million over 3 years he could be a bargain.

Looking at the draft, and looking to pick 1:1 the biggest thing I notice is other than a QB there is noone worth the 1:1 spot. We are going to have to trade down I would imagine and despite Ezra Gutierrez looking to me like a borderline pick there I am sure I should draw some interest for a top pick and a shot at a QB, especially in a draft where there isnt much of a 2nd QB. The other top prospect is a DT who has an adjusted rating of 8.1 and 4 red combines and a blue and is 52% developed.

I trade the top spot to New Orleans for the 6th, their 3rd round spot, their 4th round spot, and a future 1st.

They take the DT. Kansas City takes the QB. Atlanta, Philly, and St Louis all take defenders who I had marked as not good enough to go there.

I then took the top player on my board, OT from Oklahoma State standing 6'8" 332 lbs with a red dash and blue elsewhere and great bars, Vince Binkow. He is initially listed at 40/84.

I then watch closely as the 5th WR on the board looks like a steal. Once there is a run on them and the guy 2 spots above him is taken I offer Dallas my 2nd and 3rd for the 26th overall and their 4th to move up for Bobby Thorton, a 6'1" 203 pound WR from colorado who skipped the combine and originally looks like a 45/77.

When my 3rd round pick roles around at 3:6 I see 3 guys equally worth the pick so I drop back a bit and take minnesota's pick here and in the 5th for my 3rd.

At 3:13 I then take CB Neal Reynolds a 16/38 corner.

I then take my 4th round pick and move back into the 3rd trading 7ths as well with new england and take FB Julio Pace, a mid tennessee state kid rated 40/71.

At 4:7 we take K Winfred Glenn, rated 25/52 in case our kicker retires.

Later in the 4th we take rb Liam Dunsmore, 35/44, to replace DMC

To start the 5th we take Kris Oberheu, 20/45, a 6'5" 335 lb DT.

In the mid 5th we take DE Hunter Middleton, 27/50.

We start the 6th with S Frank Shepardson, 20/43.

In the 7th we take Dwayne Emmons, a corner who bumps to 16/42 when moved to safety.

Not much to note in late free agency, a bunch of UDFAs, Leodis McKelvin, and surprisingly we eventually got Rod Streater for just over 2 million for 2 years, down from the nearly 15 he was asking.

Entering the regular season I am going to go over the roster again to update all the changes. This will make it much shorter than the 7 man roster I did going into last year since it is the final 53.

QB: Derek Carr, 34/56, should be better this year and still brings great accuracy, 45/77, and is great at reading defenses, 50/88 and throwing mid range, 47/84. He does miss some screens though, 16/26 and his timing is weak, 4/6. He is also one of four raiders currently on the green page and sits 2 spots above the QB we were looking at at 1:1. Blake Bortles is still the stud of last year's class.

Matt McGloin, 17/27, and Matt Schaub, 22, will back up the spot.

RB: This spot looks much different this year led by 4th round pick Liam Dunsmore, 39/46. He is an elusive,74/84, runner who knows how to find the hole, 57/66. UDFA Bruce Gunn, 41/47, is his backup and a very good pass catching back. UDFA Bryce Alston, 25/32 is also on the roster.

FB: Marcel Reece, 54, still has one good season in him with very reliable hands, 70 avoid drop, and solid skills across the board. Julio Pace, 31/46, was expected to be very good but dropped off in camp. He is a tough inside runner, 77 power, though.

TE: FA Lance Kendricks, 45, will start here and be a huge upgrade. He is a great route runner, 88, even if he struggles getting downfield, 8. Mychal Rivera, 29, will be the backup after starting last year. UDFA Kelly Brennan, 15/31, will be the 3rd string guy.

WR: James Jones, 58, still looks like the top guy with big play ability, 86, and the ability to adjust to throws, 84. Opposite him late 1st round pick Bobby Thornton 50/74, could be a long term starter with great big play ability, 100, and courage to attack the middle, 67/81. He is another of our 4 green pagers.

Brandon Gibson, 47, will play the slot and is another big play guy, 79. Rod Streater, 49, is back this year as well offering another big play threat, 86. UDFA Donald Perkins, 21/32, is a last resort.

C: Stefen Wisniewski, 57/69 is coming off of an ankle injury but is a very good run blocker, 56/75. UDFA Thomas Cauthen, 15/40, is the backup.

LG: Orlando Franklin, 45, should be a solid starter but will miss the first few games. Gabe Jackson, 27/34, will fill in for him and is a solid pass blocker, 54/75, but cannot run block, 2/4.

RG: Brandon Brooks. 36, comes over looking to be a solid placeholder. UDFA Seth Henson, 15/28 does not look like much of a contributer.

LT: Vince Binkow, 47/85, looks to prove us right for taking him. The second highest rated guy on the green page and the highest from this draft he is a great run blocker, 37/94. UDFA Evan Stram, 23/38, is a solid backup but hopefully we don't have to use him.

RT: Donald Penn, 37, will kick over from LT and fill this spot. Menelik Watson, 33, will back him up.

specialists: Marquette King, 70, is still one of the top punters in the league and K Sebastian Janikowski, 72, stuck around as a top kicker.

LE: Hunter Middleton, 33/55 a 5th rounder, is our other green page guy and a well rounded end. Lamarr Woodley, 38, is a solid backup.

RE: Justin Tuck, 60, is still a good finesse rusher, 74. UDFA Lionel Grier, 27/51, has potential as a backup all around pass rusher, 18/57 technique, 50 strength.

LDT: Terrell McClain, 47, is a solid technique rusher, 57. UDFA Lamar Yarbrough, 27/40, and 2nd year man Justin Ellis, 37/41, will fight for playing time.

RDT: Antonio Smith, 38, is a great technique rusher, 82 but struggles against the run, 13. Backup Kris Oberheu, 23/38, was a 5th round pick this year.

MLB: Miles Burris, 38/42, will start again this year and is a well rounded backer. Nick Roach, 18, is his backup.

SLB: Khalil Mack, 71/76, looks like a great LB and an elite run defender, 92/96. UDFA Ron Westbrook, 16/32, will back him up.

WLB: Sio Moore, 56, is a very well rounded backer who can do it all. UDFA Abel Flannery, 20/34, is not much of a backup.

LCB: DJ Hayden, 62, is great at making picks, 96, but cannot cover man to man, 18. Keith McGill, 42/49, a 4th rounder last year will fill in the nickle spot. Bernie Cullors, 31/37 won't play much.

RCB: Chris Culliver, 45, is a good man defender, 76. He struggles in press though, 8. Gustavo Welch, 11/33, is a UDFA.

SS: Tyvon Branch, 37, is out week 1 with a concussion but should become the starter. 6th round pick Frank Shepardson, 23/42 is a solid backup.

FS: Free Agent Tavon Wilson, 42/44, is great in zone defense, 74/79, and making picks, 82/83. Mr Irrelevant this year, Dwayne Emmons, 22/43, will be a solid backup with a knack for picks, 71/90.

LS: Jon Condo, 15, is a solid snapper, 69.

Facing San Diego week 1 we are 3 point underdogs. Philip Rivers, 70, will keep them being very good for a long time.

Orlando Franklin, out 4 weeks with a broken ankle, and Tyvon Branch, doubtful and inactive this week with a concussion are our only injuries.

Despite being the underdog we get the first 2 scores on FGs in the first. They finally get a kick in the 2nd and then start the 3rd off right as rivers hits Wes Welker for a score. We come back quick though and Carr hits Brandon Gibson for a 29 yard strike. In the 4 we add a little distance with a 52 yard FG to win 16-10.

Carr went 23/34 for 249 with a TD and 2 picks. Gunn ran 10 times for 43 yards. James Jones caught 5 passes for 80 yards and Brandon Gibson added 3 for 55 and a score.

Rivers went 26/40 for 204 yards and a score and a pick. Donald Brown gained 32 yards on 11 carries. Wes Welker caught 6 passes for 50 yards and a score.

Frank Shepardson racked up 10 tackles while Justin Tuck had 9 with 3 sacks. Chris Culliver added a pick to the mix.

We enter week 2 an 11 point underdog going to Detroit. Detrout managed to keep Ndamukong Suh, 78, and paired with nick Fairley, 81, and Ezekiel Ansah, 72, they make a great line. On the other side Calvin Johnson, 83, looks like a beast.

G Brandon Brooks joins the injury report with a strained back keeping him out up to 5 weeks. Orlando Franklin is still out as well looking at 3 more weeks and starting FS Tavon Wilson is questionable with a sprained knee.

Detroit starts it off quick as Stafford hits DeVier Posey and Eric Ebron for TDs in the first and Jed Collins and Ebron again in the second to take a 28-3 lead. Dunsmore runs in a score and Perkins scores on a 4 yard pass from McGloin late but we still lose solidly 31-17.

Carr went 10/20 for 102 yards and a pick while McGloin went 13/18 for 179 and a score but lost a fumble. Liam Dunsmore ran 8 times for 24 yards and a score while Bruce Gunn gained 50 on 5 tries. Bobby Thornton caught passes for 60 yards.

Matt Stafford went 33/42 for 322 and 4 scores. Carl Devine ran 22 times for 81 yards and Eric Ebron caught 7 passes for 90 yards and 2 scores.

Miles Burris racked up 13 tackles but we had no sacks or takeaways.

Week 3 we are facing Andrew Luck, 54/70, and the 1-1 colts. They are favored by 1 point here in oakland.

Brandon Brooks has 4 weeks left and is still out. Orlando Franklin was upgraded to questionable with 2 weeks left and Tavon Wilson is still questionable with 2 weeks left. TE Lance Kendricks sprained his thumb and is probable for 2 weeks and RT Donald Penn bruised his heel and is probable for 2 weeks.

The first quarter was a kicking contest and we came out up 6-3. In the 2nd Bruce Gunn broke a 23 yard run but the Andrew Luck answered with a 33 yard run of his own. Indy then tied it with a FG, we answered with another and they matched it again leaving it 16-16 at the half.

They opened the 3rd quarter with another FG but then Carr took over leading a long drive ending with Marcel Reece catching a 1 yard pass for a score. He then added a 45 yard strike to Bobby Thorton to push the lead to 11. TY Hilton broke loose on a 52 yard score after that and the 2 point try brought them to within 3, 30-27, but as they were making their game winning drive attempt Tavon Wilson came up with the pick and took it to the house and we won 37-27.

Derek Carr went 16/19 for 229 yards and 2 scores. Liam Dunsmore ran 18 times for 77 yards and Bruce Gunn added 14 for 73 and a TD. Bobby Thornton caught 3 passes for 70 yards and a TD and Marcel Reece added 5 for 52 and a score.

Week 4 we are traveling to Cincinatti as a 1 point favorite against the Bengals led by DT Geno Atkins, 79, and OLB Vontaze Burfict, 72.

Brandon Brooks looks to be out 3 more weeks. Orlando Franklin, Tavon Wilson, Donald Penn, and Lance Kendricks are all probable with 1 week left. Kicker Sebastian Janikowski broke his toe and will be questionable for 3 weeks.

Janikowski's injury does not slow him down though as the first 6 scores of the game are FGs and 4 are his. In the 4th quarter, with us up 12-6, Giovani Bernard looked to take it over scoring on a 5 yard run but Sebastian had one more kick in him and we won at the last second 15-13.

Carr went 19/31 for 229 yards. Liam Dunsmore ran 14 times for 103 yards. James Jones caught 4 passes for 95 yards. The key to our offense though was Janikowski making 5 of 7 field goals winning player of the game. His 2 misses were from 57 yards out.

Andy Dalton went 21/33 for 168 yards and 2 picks. Giovani Bernard ran 20 times for 64 yards and a score. AJ Green caught 7 passes for 81 yards.

Khalil Mack made 14 tackles and a sack. Miles Burris and Terrell McClain each added a sack and Chris Culliver and DJ Hayden each had a pick.

Week 5 we face a fellow 3-1 team, Baltimore, and we are a 2 point favorite. They have a very solid line with 4 guys 59 overall or better.

Brandon Brooks was upgraded to questionable and will now start at RG. Antonio Smith strained a foot ligament and is out 4 weeks. Janikowski is probable with his broken toe and expected to be that way 2 weeks

Bruce Gunn starts off the fun with a yard score and after Baltimore gets their 2nd straight FG with 46 seconds left in the first the next play sees Liam Dunsmore break an 80 yard run. Baltimore adds another kick but Dunsmore adds to the halftime lead with an 18 yard score pushing it to 21-9. a pair of 3rd quarter FGs pushes our lead to 18 and even though Steve Smith scores 4th quarter TD and they add 2 points and a FG we still win 27-20.

Derek Carr went 14/22 for 133 with a pick. Liam Dunsmore broke out with 23 carries for 144 yards and 2 scores and 4 catches for 24 yards. Bruce Gunn added 13 carries for 44 yards and a score.

Carsn Palmer went 28/47 for 281 with a TD and 2 picks. Bernard Pierce ran 11 times for 47 yards. Steve Smith cauht 11 passes for 151 yards and a TD.

Week 6 we are a 9 point favorite traveling to face a 1-3 cleveland squad. even with Manziel, 51/64, becoming a very good QB and 2 offensive linemen over 80 and phil taylor, 88, and Joe Haden, 81, on defense they have struggled to match the kind of improvement we have made going 4-1 so far this year.

Injuries have hit us hard now though. Brandon Brooks reinjured his back and will be out up to 5 weeks but even worse 1st round pick Bobby Thornton, a starting WR, separated his shoulder and could miss up to 6 weeks. RT Donald Penn bruised his thigh and will be probable 2 weeks and Janikowski still has 1 week as probable.

After we scored on a Carr to Streater 3 yard pass on the first drive the game turned all Cleveland and they put up 27 straight to win.

Derek Carr was 19/31 or 172 with a TD and a pick. Bruce Gunn ran 14 times for 65 yards but lost a fumble. Donald Perkins caught 4 passes for 59 yards.

johnny Manziel went 16/24 for 120 yards and a pick but ran 5 times for 30 yards. Isaiah Crowell ran 19 times for 126 yards and 2 scores. Andrew Hawkins was their top pass catcher with 4 for 32 yards.

Week 7 we have to travel again, this time to Kansas City where we are a 3 point favorite over a 2-3 squad. Without Derrick Johnson their defense keys around Justin Houston, 88, and Eric Berry, 82. Rookie QB Ezra Gutierrez is the first first round QB they have had in a long time here and has had some bumps along the way but should be worth the pick.

Brooks and Thornton, are still out for 5 weeks each. Antonio Smith is out for 3 weeks. Donald Penn is still probable this week.

We have not been the same since thornton came out ut we started off good with Lance Kendricks scoring our first TD from the TE position since I started. They answered with a 79 yard pass to Travis Kelce and then added to it when Grady Haddix caught a 7 yard strike. James Jones, with 2 minutes left in the half, tied it up with a grab from 18 yards out. We left too much time on the clock though and Michael Crabtree was able to score on an 11 yard catch just 30 seconds later.

We started off the 3rd cutting the lead to 4 with a FG but Josh Bellamy caught an 11 yard score to push it to 28-17 and then Matt Prater added a FG. With 6 minutes left we cut into it with a FG and then Carr hit Streater from 22 out with 54 seconds left and we did get the 2. We could not get the onside kick though and lost 31-28.

Carr went 25/34 for 306 and 3 TDs. Streater caught 7 passes for 119 yards and a score and Jones added 5 for 94 and a score. Bruce Gun ran 7 times for 46 yards but Liam Dunsmore was held to 37 on 18 tries.

Ezra Gutierrez won this one going 21/27 for 261 with 4 TDs and a pick. Travis Kelce caught 2 passes for 88 yards and a score. Jamal Charles ran 18 times for 94 yards.

Miles Burris racked up 11 tackles and DJ Hayden had a pick.

Week 8 we are finally back home facing Pittsburgh as a 5 point favorite. We have struggled without Thornton though so who knows. Pitt is 3-3 behind great play from WR Antonio Brown, 83, and thanks to a running game improved with the addition of guard Mike Upati, 85.

Bobby Thornton and Brandon Brooks are still out another 4 weeks. FS Tavon Wilson is added to that group out 3 with a strained calf. Antonio Smith was upgraded to probable for the next 2 weeks.

We bounce back taking control of a game like we have not been able to rushing out to a quick 28-3 lead and holding on to win 35-12.

Derek Carr was a model of efficiency going 14/17 for 217 yards and 2 TDs. Bruce Gun ran 21 times for 86 yards and 2 scores while Liam Dunsmore ran 12 times for 66 yards and a TD. Rod Streater caught 3 passes for 71 yards and a score while Lance Kendricks added 2 for 14 and a TD.

Big Ben went 30/43 for 353 and a pick. Leveon Bell ran 12 times for 58 yards but 42 came on 1 carry. Antonio Brown lit it up with 9 grabs for 150 yards but as a team they just couldnt finish.

Justin Tuck had 8 tackles while Terrell McClain and Lamar Yarbrough each had a sack and Tyvon Branch had a pick.

Week 9 we are hosting San Diego who we already beat on the road and who is currently 1-6. We are an 8 point favorite in this one.

A week before the bye week we are starting to get a little healthier. Brandon Brooks is still out 3 weeks and Tavon Wilson 2 but Bobby Thorton was upgraded to questionable for the next 3 and will play a limited role in this one. Antonio Smith still has 1 probable week left and Marcel Reece has knee tendinitis and is probable this week.

We started the game off right as on the first drive Sio Moore returned a pick 92 yards for a score. When they responded with a FG we engineered a long drive ending in Lance Kendricks catching a 4 yard TD. He has became a real weapon for us at TE compared to what we had last year. After that early 2nd quarter score the game stopped until each team added a FG in the last couple minutes and we won 17-6.

Derek Carr went 12/18 for 121 yards and a TD. Liam Dunsmore ran 16 times for 45 yards James Jones caught 3 passes for 54 yards and in his return Thorton was only targeted once and didnt make a catch.

Philip Rivers went 32/58 for 341 and 2 picks. Donald Brown ran 11 times for 20 yards. Wes Welker caught 5 passes for 88 yards.

Khalil Mack had 12 tackles. Justin Ellis and Hunter Middleton each recorded a sack and Sio Moore and Chris Culliver each had a pick.

a week 10 bye allowed us to get healthy to face Denver in Denver in week 11. We are a 4 point favorite going against this 3-6 post manning squad led now by QB Brock Osweiler who we beat last year.

Our injury report is just 4 probables. Bobby Thornton for 2 weeks and Rod Streater, Bruce Gunn, and Brandon Brooks for 1 week. All will see near full playing time.

The first quarter is quite until denver scores near the end on a Lawrence Timmons 4 yard fumble return. We start the 2nd with a 15 yard score by Bruce Gunn but they answer right away with a Montee Ball TD. We get a FG with 3 minutes left to cut the lead to 14-10 but they end the half strong scoring a TD on a pass to Cody Latimer with 2 minutes left and the getting a FG as time expired to go up 24-10.

They then get a FG to open the 2nd half pushing the lead to 3 scores but we answer quickly with another FG. In the 4th quarter Carr takes pver leading 2 long drives ending with short TD strikes, one to Brandon Gibson, one to Brude Gunn. With the score tied and time running out he the sets us up for a game winning 51 yard FG which we made to win 30-27.

Carr went 24/32 for 219 yards with 2 TDs and a pick and also lost a fumble. Liam Dunsmore was good going 14 carries for 94 yards but Bruce Gunn was great running 12 times for 130 yards and a TD and adding a 5 yard TD catch. Bobby Thornton caught 6 balls for 76 yards and Brandon Gibson added 6 for 67 and a TD.

Brock Osweiler went 22/43 for 244 yards with a TD and a pick. Montee Ball ran 16 times for 101 yards and a TD and caught 3 passes for 70 yards.

Miles Burris racked up 14 tackles while Justin Tuck had 2 sacks and Lamar Yarbrough and Lionel Grier each added 1. Dwayne Emmons made a pick.

Week 12 we are finally an underdog again, this time by 7 points hosting an 8-2 Minnesota team led by SS Harrison Smith, 72, and CB Xavier Rhodes, 70.

Just when it seemed we would get healthy James Jones broke his clavicle and will miss up to 7 weeks. Lance Kendricks is also out 3 weeks with a hyperextended elbow. Terrell McClain is doubtful 2 weeks with a hyperextended knee. Milers Burris is probable 4 weeks with a strained rotator cuff and Brandon Gibson is probable this week with a bad cold.

Despite being banged up we jumped out to a quick lead scoring the first 17 points as carr put us on his back leading us to a FG scoring drive then finishing one hitting Bobby Thornton on a 4 yard throw and another taking it himself for a 7 yard score. Bridgewater then hit Jenning for a score but we added another kick to end the half up 20-7 Both teams added 3 in the 3rd and 3 early in the 4th to push it to 27-13. Cordarrelle Patterson narrowed it to 6 with a late TD catch but they couldnt get the onside kick and we ran it out to win 26-20 and guarantee we wont have a losing season.

Carr went 21/30 for 221 with a TD and ran for a TD as well. Bruce Gunn ran 14 times for 74 yards. Bobby Thornton caught 7 passes for 68 yards and a score.

Teddy Bridgewater went 30/54 for 313 and 2 scores and 2 picks. Steven Ridley ran 9 times for 82 yards and Greg Jennings caught just 8 passes on 17 tries but went for 112 yards and a TD.

Miles Burris racked up 10 tackles while Tavon Wilson and Chris Culliver each had a pick and Lamarr Woodley forced a fumble the Tyvon Branch recovered.

Week 13 we are a 4 point favorite facing a 4-7 Bills team. They still have 2 of the top DTs in the country in Kyle Williams, 88, and Marcel Dareus, 95, but the team around them has dropped off some.

James Jones is still out 6 weeks and now return man Keith McGill strained his Patellar Tendon and is out 5 weeks. Lance Kendricks has been upgraded to questionable for the next 2 weeks while miles Burris is probable 3 weeks and Lamar Yarbrough is probable 1 week with a bad cold.

After 6 punts in the 1st quarter, 3 by each team, buffalo started out the 2nd with Marquise Goodwin catching a 31 yard TD pass. They then added a FG to push the lead to 10 but we closed the half with Carr hitting Streater for a 22 yard score and opened the 3rd with a FG to tie. Bryce Brown answered with a 5 yard scoring catch but we owned the 4th with a FG, a lance Kendricks TD grab to take the lead with 44 seconds left and then up 20-17 capped it off with a Dwayne Emmons pick 6 to end their chances and win 27-17.

Carr went 21/32 for 265 with 2 TDs. Bruce Gunn ran 7 times for 32 yards. Lance Kendricks caught 4 passes for 63 yards and a TD.

Week 14 we are once again an underdog, this time by 1 point as we host he Packers led by the league's top QB, Aaron Rodgers, 81. They are currently 7-5 in a 3 way tie for 2nd place in their division with a 1-3 division record and could miss the playoffs. We, on the other hand, could seal a playoff spot this week if we win or if Denver loses at Minnesota.

James Jones is still out and 5 weeks from healed. Keith McGill is doubtful and I am holding him out. He is 4 weeks to full strength. Miles Burris is probable 2 weeks and Lance Kendricks is probable for 1.

After they start the game with a FG on the opening drive Bruce Gunn takes control as we score 27 straight points and he catches 2 TD passes and runs for a TD. Randall Cobb does catch a late TD from backup QB Leroy Taylor and we add a late FG and we win 30-11.

The wildcard round of the playoffs looks like an interesting slate with 3 of the top QBs from the in their 2nd year leading teams here and another in the bye week group. The QBs from that class are off to a great start.

We are facing a Cleveland team that beat us earlier in the year and went 9-7 but we are hosting them and a 5 point favorite.

Green Bay is headed to Seattle who beat them 30-27

Jacksonville is staying in their division headed to Houston and are the only away team favored to win. They still came away losers 20-10

Tampa Bay also stays within their division heading to New Orleans. Tampa won 19-13.

Lance Kendricks strained his calf and will miss the week. DJ Hayden tore some knee cartilage and will miss the playoffs. Rod Streater is still out 3 weeks. Kelly Brennan sprained his neck and is probable 4 weeks. Bruce Gunn, James Jones, Bobby Thornton, and Orlando Franklin are all probable 1 week.

The 2nd year QB matchup looked like another disappointment as Crowell started off with a yard TD and then Josh Gordon caught TD passes from 11 and 41. Cleveland added a field goal at the end of the half to go up 24-0.

The second half was a complete reverse though as the 3rd quarter saw Carr throw a TD to Bruce Gunn and another to Donald Perkins each from 3 yards out. He then narrowed the gap to 3 early in the 4th with a 12 yard run. Cleveland pushed the lead to 6 with minutes left but Carr led a long drive and capped it off hitting Gunn from 2 yards out to win 28-27.

Carr went 29/39 for 306 yards with 3 TDs and a pick and ran for a TD as well. Liam Dunsmore ran 10 times for 33 yards. Brandon Gibson caught 6 passes for 93 yards. Bruce Gunn only gained 15 yards on his 4 catches be scored on 2 of them. Donald Perkins caught 2 for 27 and a score.

Johnny Manziel was 28/39 for 389 and 2 scores. Isaiah Crowell ran 11 times for 46 yards and a score. Josh Gordon caught 9 passes for 181 yards and 2 scores while Jordan Cameron caught 10 for 133.

Frank Shepardson had 9 tackles and Justin Tuck and Hunter Middleton each had 1.5 sacks.
