FM 2005 Demo question

I've ordered FM 2005. In the meantime, I've installed the demo. Despite the fact I choose English, it looks like the Demo always starts up as German, although I'm not really sure. I go to what appears to be the settings, and change it to English. It doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

Go into the data folder, then languages, then delete all but english. That solved things for me when I couldn't get it to switch to english, not a problem since I don't need the others.

ah yes. the infamous "demo starting up in danish" (or was it dutch) problem. i can't believe that wasn't corrected. yep, basically you just have to go into the settings menu (which it sounds like you found) and change the language to english, try hitting the other button though, you might have hit cancel instead of save...i'd give you more precise directions as to exactly which selections on the menus it is and all, but MVP is in my drive right now not FM

edit: sounds like FBPro's plan would work quite easily too

I actually had the same problem and it took me a while to figure out what to do. I went ahead and took a few German classes this past year figuring all this talk about FM would be worth it.

In the "I just got fired in FM2005" thread there is some info on how to fix this even if you don't speak German.
