C Patrick Hutt- Marquette has jumped out of nowhere to become Patrick's #1choice, it helps that they've offered a scholarship. The rest of his top 5 have not offered, and they consist of Michigan St., Kansas, North Carolina, and Pittsburgh.

SF Deacon Palmer- Mississippi St., Oklahoma, Oklahoma St., Michigan St., and Texas A&M are on Deacon's list. Oklahoma State has offered.

PG Corey Harris- It appears that Mr. Harris may want to stay close to home, as right now he is looking at Miami, South Florida, and Florida Gulf Coast. So far only South Florida has offered.

SG Chucker McDaniel- Chucker is being hush hush about his list. (Really the deal with Chucker is that there were no 3 or 4 star SG's from Kentucky, so I had to go to Florida to find one. I noticed it on the player card, so I edited Chucker to be from Kentucky and I am waiting to see what his top 5 looks like after the edit to a different state. Sorry about that wahoomac!

PG Da Hoo- Providence, St. Johns, Syracuse, Marist, and LaSalle round out Mr. Hoo's top 5. Providence, Marist, and LaSalle have offered.

C David Ginsberg- Quinnipiac has offered David a scholarship. Also on the list of his top 5 schools that have not offered are Iona, UConn, Northeastern, and Boston College.

Wow, hopefully now that Jace is at a program he'll be successful. That recruitment process is a big of a red flag though :S

C Patrick Hutt- Tennessee has jumped into his top 5, and Kansas has moved out. The favorite still appears to be Marquette, but North Carolina has also offered a schollie.

SF Deacon Palmer- Texas A&M is out, Notre Dame is in, but Mississippi St. and Oklahoma St. have both offered and appear to be the favorites.

PG Corey Harris- It's between Miami and South Florida for Corey, as he told Florida Gulf Coast thanks but no thanks. Both have offered, and they appear to be neck and neck for Corey's services.

SG Chucker McDaniel- Tennessee, Duke, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, and West Virginia are the top 5 that Chucker released today, although he is still waiting for a scholarship offer from somebody, anybody.

PG Da Hoo- Mr. Hoo apparently wanted to make up his mind early, as he is given Providence a soft verbal. Of course this could always change, but Providence has been on the top of Da's list for a while now.

C David Ginsberg- The small schools are on top in this battle, mostly Quinnipiac and Iona, who have both offered. Binghamton is now in the mix and have offered, as well as Boston College. The only one in Davids top 5 not to offer is St. Johns.

October 2012

C Patrick Hutt- The only change this month is Kansas back in the top 5, Tennessee out. No new scholarship offers. Marquette is still on top followed by North Carolina.

SF Deacon Palmer- Florida St. has replaced Oklahoma in Deacon's top 5, but Mississippi St. and Oklahoma St. are still on top, and they both have offered.

PG Corey Harris- Corey has given Miami a verbal, and appears headed to the ACC to be a Hurricane.

SG Chucker McDaniel- No change at all in Chuckers' top 5, it is exactly the same as last month, and still none of the teams have offered him.

PG Da Hoo- While he still has his verbal to Providence, Mr. Hoo has agreed to go visit the campus at Seton Hall, so maybe it isn't quite so clear cut and dry yet.

C David Ginsberg- It's between Iona and Quinnipiac for David. He has dismissed all the major schools, saying he would rather get more playing time at a small school than sit the bench at a BCS school.

C Patrick Hutt- No change from last month, the top 5 remains the same, as Patrick hasn't made a decision yet. Being the #12 recruit in the nation (and quite honestly probably would have went pro out of high school had I turned that option on), he is being very highly recruited and wants to take his time with this decision.

SF Deacon Palmer- Deacon made it official today, signing with the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Mississippi State was the only other team that had offered him a scholarship, but he chose to go with the Cowboys.

PG Corey Harris- Another signing in the books, as Corey is going to Miami to compete in the tough ACC.

SG Chucker McDaniel- A huge surprise this month, as Richmond has jumped out of nowhere to offer Chucker a scholarship, jumping all the way to the top of the list. North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Florida, and West Virginia are still on the list, but none of those schools have offered.

PG Da Hoo- The visit to Seton Hall was enough to make Mr. Hoo reconsider his decision to sign with Providence, as he has opened it up again. It is still between Providence and Seton Hall, and Seton Hall has not offered, but I'm being told that if they do offer, Da may decommit from Providence and commit to Seton Hall. Wow!

C David Ginsberg- The winner of David's services: Iona. Can't say I'm totally surprised by this decision, as Iona has a better history and plays in a better conference than Quinnipiac. While they are still a small conference team, they are more notable of a team than Quinnipiac.

Something I am going to do before the start of every season is turn off the option for players to refuse redshirts, then let everybody know where their player is scheduled to be on the depth chart. I will give you the options before redshirt decisions and after the computer AI makes redshirt decisions, but I will not save after training camp. Then I will go back and let you guys decide whether you want to use your redshirt year or not. So let's get it started.

Before Training Camp, no redshirts yet

PG Rob Nielsen (USC)- Starting PG
PG Will Brown (Kansas)- 9th on depth chart
SG Cannon Pace (Notre Dame)- 10th on depth chart
C Jawouk Bafou (Michigan St.)- 11th on depth chart
C Jace Hunter (Florida St.)- 12th on depth chart
PF Shannon Elliott (Idaho)- 9th on depth chart

After Training Camp- CPU decides redshirts

PG Rob Nielsen (USC)- Starting PG, Rob will be starting no matter what, so probably no need to redshirt him.

PG Will Brown (Kansas)- 8th on depth chart, moved up 1 spot, your decision vex.

SG Cannon Pace (Notre Dame)- 9th on depth chart, moved up 1 spot, your decision cmp

C Jawouk Bafou (Michigan St.)- The computer would redshirt Jawouk, as he isn't scheduled to play much this season. But it is ultimately your decision britrock88.

C Jace Hunter (Florida St.)- The computer would redshirt Jace, but it's up to you Travis.

PF Shannon Elliott (Idaho)- 8th on depth chart. This is my player, and I have a decision to make, I'm gonna ask you guys for help. There are 3 other players in front of Shannon that play the PF spot. Shannon can also move down to SG if need be, where he would be the third SF off the bench. I am tempted to redshirt him.

So pretty much everybody but coffee warlord has a decision to make, and I am not going to be able to proceed with this dynasty until those decisions are made.

The question is, do you guys want to make the decisions, or do you just want to leave it up to the computer to make those decisions like cmp does in his TCY/FOF dynasty. (I assume cmp leaves it up to the computer all the way.) Let me know, I'll be eagerly awaiting your responses.

I'll take the redshirt please. I'm good with letting the computer make the decision if that makes it easier on you as well.

RS Will Brown. And being as how there are 3 players ahead of Elliot, I would RS him as well.

I personally like the interactive touch of choosing to RS etc. But whatever works best and is easiest for you works for me. Loving the dynasty, thanks.

Redshirting seems like the best move for Cannon.

Redshirt sounds fine, especially if the AI suggests it.

well considering it looks like 5 of our 6 recruits from season 1 will be redshirting in season 2, this could be a very quick season.

Everybody except for Rob Nielsen will be redshirting, as for now Rob is scheduled to be the starting PG over at USC.

I will have an update tonight, unfortunately my updates aren't going to be as fancy as cmp's graphics that he uses for his dynasty. Mine will mostly be text based, organized week by week for each player. I know it's pretty simple, and maybe a little boring, but its the best I can offer, so I hope you guys enjoy. For those of you that have followed my other interactive dynasties, you can pretty much expect close to the same format.

So we are ready to begin the regular season, where USC's Rob Nielsen will be our only player to log minutes, as our other 5 recruits from season 1 have redshirted. I am still going to give those teams results. I'm trying a new format, let me know what you guys think. It'll be week by week with each recruits team grouped separately.

Dec. 2012 Recruiting

3 recruits have yet to sign with schools, and lets check in to see if any of them have signed since November.

C Patrick Hutt- The 12th ranked recruit in the nation has made his decision, and he has chosen Marquette.

SG Chucker McDaniel- Chucker is still undecided, but Richmond is the favorite right now as they are the only school that has offered. Louisville, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, and Maryland are also under consideration, but none of them have offered.

PG Da Hoo- Last we checked, Mr. Hoo had opened things up to Seton Hall and looked to decommit from Providence. When it was all said and done, Da decided to stay committed to Providence, and actually signed, so he will join Mr. Hutt in the Big East.

It's absolutely amazing to me that USC, at 8-1, can't even garner not even 1 vote. Crazy.

sorry for the lack of posts, I have been out of town for the past couple weeks dealing with an emergency, and haven't been able to get to a computer. and I won't be back until next week at the earliest. As soon as I get back, I am going to start posting like crazy on this dynasty. Again, I apologize for the lack of posts, I hope to be back by next week.

I'm back in town folks, with good news and bad news. The good news is I now have a brand new pc in my basement, virus free and about 3 times faster than my old one. The bad news is my FBCB Interactive Dynasty files didn't back up properly, so I'm starting from scratch. Fortunately I wasn't too far into this one, but I am going to continue it, and I am also debating on whether to buy the pro game as well so some of you can continue your college careers in the pros.

What I need from you guys is a head count of those who are still interested in this, and if you want to keep your recruit the same or change it. If I have enough interest I will definitely restart it. So let me know yay or nay if you would like to see me try yet another FBCB Interactive Dynasty.

I plan on starting it Tuesday. I've taken the day off work to watch the majority of the ESPN Tip-Off Marathon, so I will have plenty of time to get this going, as well as work on some other projects, just let me know guys. Thanks.

My player hasn't started yet, but I'd be interested in seeing it. Always enjoy these kind of dynasties.

Thanks for the responses guys. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to get this going until the weekend, or maybe not until next Monday or Tuesday, as my computer tech wants to have a look at my comp over the weekend just to make sure everything is good to go (no viruses, malware, etc) before I start downloading stuff. A pain I know, but I'd rather have you guys wait a week as opposed to getting going and having to scratch the project due to more computer issues.

As soon as I have the ok, I will get FBCB downloaded and get going on this again, you have my word. Thanks for your patience!
