Quoting and Posting With Tapatalk (Ping - IOS Tapatalk users)

Anyone else having issues with posting quoted replies with Tapatalk? I get an error to contact the administrator if it continues. This has been going on for at least a month with the Android version.

It looks like I am having the same problem. It is getting a bit late over here so I will take a look at this over the weekend.

Nope, still not able to quote from iOS.

Addendum: never been able to even though I chose Quote.

Has this ever worked for you? If it was working as recently as one month ago, it might be related to the problems we had at the end of February.

Also when it did work it never quoted the other user properly, it would never include the name and link of the post one would reply to. If you need some assistance with settings I might be able to help, I got it set up and running 100% on the PCJBL Forum last night.

I suspect that our old forum software is not helping. I updated the tapatalk plugin last night, but it looks like they are no longer releasing new updates for vBulletin 3.6. The most recent version is almost a year old.

Oh yeah I forget that we are running a pretty old version of VB.

I don't remember quoting ever working for me on iOS. It just acted as a reply without quoting what I intended

They might be able to offer assistance, this is sort of like the original issue where it wouldn't quote the person and just do the quote.

While on the subject of things that have never worked for me here , viewing unread posts has never worked for me in tapatalk on this forum either, but seems to work fine elsewhere.

I've just started using the Tapatalk app on a regular basis to finish the FOFC Hardcore draft and I've never been able to quote posts at all.

Does anyone use Tapatalk and do they have this forum set up with it? I've always had a problem finding FOFC when I install it, but now I haven't been able to find it on both my phone and tablet.

Edit: Should mention I have this board set up with Tapatalk on my old tablet, so it was definitely possible to find a year or two ago.

Okay, so strangely enough I put 'operationsports.com/fofc' in the search bar and when I clicked 'more communities' it found it.
