We've already had one person express concern about a potential exploit that is *not* legal in this league because of this rule. (In other words, he didn't realize what the rule meant.) So, in an attempt to save myself some work tomorrow in having to void a bunch of illegal offers, I thought I'd highlight it again:

Players who are in year 1-3 must be offered a deal of at least three years.

This rule is in place to prevent people from offering big short-term deals to guys who'd be RFAs at the end of the deal. This rule is in place for at least the first three rounds of free agency. We shouldn't need to extend it beyond then, but on the off chance that several good young players are still sitting around in the pool after that, I'd like to keep it as an option for the rest of FA2.
