So, it appears this offseason is going to be about quantity over quality for Baltimore. We needed to repopulate our secondary, and now at least we can field a legal team there. Nothing to shout about thus far, but we hope to mostly stay the course, phase into a more balanced passing attack with three well-suited receivers, and try to patch up chemistry. if we land one of the remaining impact players, that's fine, but we couldn't afford to really rush out on anyone and end up unable to field a legitimate full roster.

I've put in a lot of offers on a lot of guys so it'll be interesting to see which ones sign, I know I'll be able to field a roster so it just depends what positions get upgraded, these last two FA periods were about completely restocking my team and the next couple years will be about shedding those players that don't turn out and replacing them with hand-picked quality guys.

I love the bargains available in this system, It really puts the pressure on a GM to efficiently manage his cap space, because finding talent is not hard. You could field a reasonably competitive team just from the vet FAs available.

Damn, here I am eagerly anticipating the stage to run this morning, checking my laptop by my bed as I wake up through the night and wondering... dreaming....

Stupid american holidays!
