upload problem
Hi,
I have tried uploading my FOWL export 3 times today, Sat the 22nd. It still says my last upload was the 20th.  (It's under LAX not JAG I don't know why.) I really don't want to miss another FA upload.  Could someone please help me? Thankyou, Merry  JAGS |

It may have still gone through, my friend tried uploading his SFO export last night, it showed the old file being his export, but it did go through, his new offers were there when today's stage ran. Try PMing wade_moore and ask him if there's been any problem.

This could possibly be your ISP's cache servers being at fault. I've had this problem before with a site I went to a lot as it never seemed to update, found out my ISP had some problems with their cache servers not updating.

Hi,
I e-mailed the export file. It might be my ISP but my PFL files upload fine and I use that site even more than FOWL. Merry |

im sure the upload program is showing the file creation date, not the last time the file was touched/accessed. It does allow overwriting, so im sure you are fine.

merry - when you're uploading, what link are you going to?
And when you do upload, what stage does it say it is uploading to?

Hi,
Well "wrong stage" makes sense since my last stage did not upload.  JAGS FA SUMMARY: Number of roster players lost FA1-> 19 Number of new Players signed FA -> 11 Number of refused offers in FA -> 3 Number of players on roster prior FA -> 53 Number of Players on roster after FA -> 40 Successful number uploads in FA-> 2 Failed number of uploads in FA ->2 AI roster strength assess before FA ->79 AI roster strength assess after FA -> 65 Major starter lost RB Hagen, FA -> 66/66 Replacement starter RB Lindsey-> 46/46 JAGS Gm satisfaction level FA -> 2.1/10 Merry Last edited by merry : 08-24-2009 at 11:40 AM. |

Hehe, sorry you've had so much trouble merry but you'll be used to it for next year. Even some vet owners have had some trouble missing stages or sending the wrong file, or including offers less than 3 yrs, ask Quicksand.
And don't worry about taking a little step backwards in talent, next year there's a whole new crop of superstars and you'll have enough cap room to go after a lot of fresh young talent.
