OK, we are hoping for two things from the upcoming season:
1) A playoff spot. Being in a division with 3 AI opponents, we don't think this is TOO high an expectation. 2) Want a lot of positive movement in our player's ratings. If we do both these, we will consider this a very successful season. In the preseason, we went 0-4... although I had Erik Fleming playing most of the games, and he did a dreadful job. With Rogers starting, I expect a solid season. We also had Korey Floyd move +6/0, and 4 other players move +4/0, so I'm feeling pretty good. Again, I'm hopeful that these guys, and some others, continue this movement through the season. I'd like to see Parliman or Kramer (both +1/0 in preseason) make a big move... but I'm not banking on it. We are trying to renegotiate Bryan Rogers' deal for 5 years... we'll see if his agent likes it or not. Again, we are being sorta cheap hoping to keep money aside for a few moves in the next two seasons. |

I fear a down year coming on... No key aquisitions because of a weak-ass draft class and new teams offerring up good contracts to outbid me. My WR corps is decimated by the departure of Wentorf. My QB has the potential for being an All-Pro but the cohesion needs repair. I'd put my win range in the 10 to 13 range, and I really hope it doesn't drop lower, with some extra bad luck it could. Decently easy schedule besides the yearly 4 game gauntlet of my AFC North brothers and playing Subby and the Niners near the end of the season.
I love this league.

 Nice to wake up to division title and a first round bye! 1-1 against the SUPER-DIME affinity loving Cardnials though, so i wish you luck and hope for game 3 in the playoffs. |
