RB Endurance Trick

I've known for awhile that you can set your best HB as your RB2 and then put him in as the starter for all your formations and get him to carry 100% of your runs because the game doesn't check your RB2 for endurance. I've also always assumed that this was considered an exploit in MP leagues and would not be allowed.

Is that true?

True that it works as advertised?

Or true that it's disallowed in this league?

Let me run a fairly quick test. I'm pretty certain that you now end up getting a significant performance hit when doing this, even with injuries off.

Extractor is running right now on the other machine to pull the ratings. That takes around 20-25 minutes. I want to wait on that to run the stage anyway, so I should be done with this before then.

10 seasons with normal depth charting, playing time at 100%, RB endurance=66.

He averages 292 carries, 1355 yards, 4.64ypc.

Everything else identical, but endurancr trick in place, he averages 397 carries, 1688 yards, 4.25ypc.

Difference is 105 carries, 333 yards, 3.17ypc.

I would have been quite a bit better off using any ol' RB2 for those extra 105 carries, so as far as I'm concerned, this isn't an exploit; it's just a way to elevate stats for one player, but it appears that in so doing, you hurt your team.

No restrictions here on this.

Interesting, I hadn't tested it in awhile and even then I hadn't tested it very extensively. Thanks Ben.
