larrymcg421 - Miami If I remember correctly, Larry is an old FOOLer. If I'm not remembering correctly, welcome anyway!

RPI-Fan - Tennessee I don't know RPI-Fan at all, but welcome anyway!

Well, at least it looks like I'll be able to make this team mine pretty quick. 12 guys under contract, 81mil in cap room.

Any chance of a one-time only / in-your-first-season-only use of the franchise tag for new owners? I've got a 76-rated MLB who was not resigned at the end of last year...

Sure. If we give it to one guy, we need to give it to all the newbies. We should probably make this a 'thing' if a guy takes over a team at this stage.

Should be one wild Free Agency period with all these guys looking to fill out their rosters, probably stay wild for the next couple years. I'm glad I only have two major needs going into it.

I am glad that I am 12 million dollars over cap and likely won't have much ability to do anything in Free agency!
