FOWL Re-Kickoff

Ok, I have the files ready to go with:

Me - St. Louis (ARZ has bad colors blech)
Subby - Washington
Nix - Buffalo
Tasan - Dallas
Bako - San Fran
TTWS - Cincinnati
Sef0r - Houston

So now I need to distribute them, the history file is about 9MB. Wade from textsportsnetwork is busy this week and eventually we'll get them hosted there but maybe the best way to get this rolling is just to use email? Please PM with your email info and I'll send em.

This will be quite exciting, there is lots of talent for us to build with but I expect the CPU teams will be well stocked for the first while as well.

Here, did a quick search for free file sharing. This site seems relatively bullshit-free.

DataFileHost - FOWL_HISTORY.zip

That's the history file.

And the current export:

So just PM me for your password.

EDIT - O, and some teams had up to 6mil-ish in lost cap room, sorry for that but it was fairly unavoidable.

It won't let me load the game. I believe you will need to see if you have the end of year file or begin 2021 export.

I don't know that we will be able to get this thing going to start the sim this today. What is our schedule going to look like? Are we looking at getting FA2:3-5 on a Monday or FA2:1 on the Monday?

I don't mind that we don't have the website anymore, it might mean more conversation in this forum with regards to player records, career records, etc.

Absolutely, I didn't use the other site all that much and I'm going to take the lead in trying to start conversation in this forum. I even put together a super quick free-website I may decide to use if people think it's fun, got it's own forum and such but for now I'll just host files here, and you can all just email me your exports. We will do the first sim whenever we have everyone sorted out and I have an export from everyone so there's no rush, we can align the schedule later by adding or skipping days.

Setting up another forum isn't a problem, I have previously set one up using phpBB. I would just need a site to host it. I also set up a free-site on webs.com just playing around the other night to see if I could host files and it has forum capabilities and actually is kinda cool. Front Office Weekday League - News

As far as Ben's website he stated pretty clearly that we can use it but it comes with the bare minimum tech-support

I personally didn't use it much but if others want it badly then I can investigate to see what it takes to do it with the least trouble to him.

Yes Bako, I sure have. I have received a message from the last owner that he will likely get to it tomorrow (throosday). Thank you very much everyone for the patience as everyone (including me) gets in the swing of things and I hope it's helped to build a little extra suspense.

We will move forward with FA2:1 late tomorrow night, about 24 hours from now.

O, and you can manually edit nicknames using that screen on the EDIT FRANCHISE NICKNAMES option int he global game options window.
