Should we even worry about being over the cap.

Now that Bako's out maybe we should'nt worry about whether are teams are over the cap. Worrying about being over the cap seems like a waste of time since once your up against the cap you cant offer UFA's and you cant resign your own guys, if there contracts are bonus laden. I just want to save TIME and i believe no one gains a edge being over the cap.

As long as it isn't obvious that you abused the system I don't mind either way but I think its best to keep things in perspective.

If you have most of your players contracted and you only have 1 mil left to sign another 8 players you should be allowed to go over the cap.

What should not happen is you sign a stud that will take your team over the cap the next season by $30 mil without being able to get back to a reasonable cap situation.

Agree with Sef0r, in my situation this year I could have ridden it out 18mil over the cap but I'm pretty close to it now and I think people should make that effort.
