California Wildfires
Thought it would be good to have a thread for the California contingent to check in and update as needed.
The idea of hurricane force winds driving these fires is insane. Hope everyone is safe.

I used to drive that stretch of 405 that everyone saw on fire. I'm on the other side of LA county so it doesn't affect me and the air quality I'm at isn't even affected, blue skies. The wind is pushing it over the ocean thankfully

One of my closest friends was evacuated last night. House likely not in danger but due to the fumes.

Also on the other side of LA County so I'm unaffected. I'm keeping a close eye on the Ventura fire, as my friend lives in the neighboring city of Oxnard. Thankfully, the fire is being pushed in the opposite direction.

I have several college friends in the area. So far all of them are ok and not impacted.
