Dola,
They touch on it in the article, but the expanse of space is even more humbling when you realize that what look like an innumerable amount of stars in the sky actually ends up being only about 6,000 that are visible with the naked eye, and all in an incredibly small local section of the Milky Way galaxy.

And how many of those "stars" are actually galaxies? The scale of the universe is truly humbling.
