If Jim's history holds, he'll at least patch the game with the new conference alignments some time later in the year...

I hope so. The Big East better get its BCS bid back too.

Based on what rational explanation?

I'm hoping TCY itself gets updated for the 2005 season

Oh I agree, in a best case scenario.. If not though, hopefully an update will come.

Keep in mind that College Football Season is now less than 3 months away.

I'm hoping there's a conference update...

...and it always seems that Jim throws us at least another "little" bone when he updates the infrastructure of the game. All things being equal, I'd love a TCY2 this year, but from what he's said earlier it doesn't look like it's going to happen, at least not this year.

Are we still expecting an announcement from Jim this spring about an upcoming release? Is that still happening?

Nope, we usually get an announcement right before a game is going to be made available.

Going back to last year, does anyone remember just how close to the start of the season it was when Jim announced the conference and other updates to TCY?

Hey Jeebs, we're conference foes now. Won't get you guys if football for a couple of seasons, but there will be at least one UCF/UTEP Hoops Matchup in '05-'06.

I'll be pulling for guys in CUSA West this year on the gridiron.
