Horsepower
A Racing Dynasty.
Not auto racing. Horse racing. I'll be starting a new account at: http://simulatedsports.net/hr/ This is a large multiplayer horse racing simulation. I was very active on there about 5-6 years ago, but haven't played much since, and haven't logged in at all in over two years. I'm sure there have been big changes since the last time I was there, so most of my prior experience will be of little use. Additionally, I will impose a few key restrictions on my play:
I am going to register a new account now. Once that is done, I will have a chance to select which horses I prefer from an available pool. I may not get any of them. It is my expectation that most or all of the horses I end up with will be entirely random. Horses generally take a few days to be assigned, so don't expect anything exciting to happen too soon. |

Sounds interesting. I'll be following along.

I have created an account. My user ID is "bubbasdad" (my son's nickname is Bubba), and it should be active in 72 hours.
I selected the following horses: 51323,65737,72590,85191,21249,108551,17629,103863,91221,89896 It will be interesting to see how many I get. |

Ugh. I got my stable.
The good news is, of the five horses I got, all five were ones I selected. The bad news is, they all stink. Previously, when you got a new account in the game, you'd get unraced horses. They'd vary in age and quality, but the nice thing was that they hadn't raced yet - so there was a bit of mystery there. Every horse in my barn has at least six races. One has 68 (so, basically, he's ready to be put out to pasture). None of them are really any good, at least at first glance. I should have looked more closely when I selected them. All I did was glance at their pedigree and pick them based on that, not realizing I could look at racing history. |

Woohoo, another FN dynasty! Now, how will you incorporate science fiction and football into this?

Basically, that's the speed rating. It's meant to mimic the Beyer Speed Figure.
I can go into more detail, if you're really interested. |
