Puppy and Kid Pics

Pictures of Anthony, and our puppy - Leo...most are pretty recent but there are a couple of Halloween pics with Leo in his Elvis costume (there was a hat/hairpiece thingy but he refused to wear it so we compromised and he agreed to wear the costume if I promised to not make him wear the hair.

Anthony testing for Blue Belt

Pics of Anthony testing for his Blue belt in karate this past weekend. There are pics of other kids too...

I've heard there are good medication for when you can't keep your "resource" high enough for that

FM

PS: I'm joking, I do know what you mean and I commend you for waiting for the right timing. Too many people don't realise that while having kids is great and very rewarding, it is also very demanding, and not only about your personal time and efforts...

LOL, I was actually quite suprised at how nice it turned out, we had about 30 people come up with us, stayed a week, and all had a great time. Did the reception dinner at Jillians and they gave us this decked out private room upstairs that had it's own Pool Table, big screen, private Music controls, and a killer spread...Ended up both getting what we wanted....simple yet elegant.

sorry dude, too late for that. While she's got all the nerdy and geeky genes in her, most probably thanks to you, she's striking too many cute poses in pictures, probably thanks to Dodgerchick's gene pool. You're doomed, face it now to be prepared for later...

As for SFL Cat being a brave man, I first thought the same thing when I got the email notification that simply stated "My 14 year-old daughter" with a hyperlink underneath. Then I got the feeling that he's simply a very proud daddy. She is indeed a cutie SFL Cat.

I didn't know my wife had taken any pictures during our karate competition of last weekend but apparently she did take a couple. Lighting was kinda so I had to correct them a bit. Here's Andrew practicing his kata prior to the start of the day with me looking on:

for those of you who would like to see him in action, here's a link to a quicktime movie of him doing his kata: Andrew's Circle of the Tiger

Andrew came in third out of five with his weapon kata with a bo staff. I was very proud of him for that, since he, and I by rebound, has been practicing with a bo only since last September and at first didn't want to enter the competition. We both learned the same kata in our 12 weeks class in the Fall and I kind of challenged him that if I entered the competition, he should to.

Unfortunately, in traditional kata, there were 17 participants in the 8yo intermediate class and he was randomly drawn to go first. That kind of kills your chances to be the first in such a big number of competitors. On top of it, he didn't really do his kata the best he could have done it, freezing on two tiny occasions that cost him some points. Not that he didn't give his all because I know he did, he simply froze which is something that can happen.

In fighting, his first fight was a forfeit from his opponent and he got a tough one in his second fight, losing it 5 points to 2. He did place a very nice kick that gave him his two points.

All in all, I was happy that he tried his best and even happier that he's looking forward to our next competition, set for March 12. I'm looking forward to seeing him improve his bo kata in the next few weeks because I know he can do much better than what he did on such little practice.

I can attest to that.

Elisa at two and a half months.

She's up in the 95th-98th percentile in weight and length (about 13 1/2 pounds) and has taken to smiling quite a lot, especially when daddy does a little bit of clowning for her.

Very cute. If she's anything like our first one, you better start with the weight training now to prepare. Caitlin was 20 pounds at 5 months, has consistently been off the charts as far as weight and height, and now, at 6.5 years old, is 4'5" and 78 lbs. I often joke that people think I have a 9 year old with a speech impediment.

The amazing thing is that our second child, Mackenzie, is the complete opposite - she weighs now, at nearly 23 months, what Caitlin weighed at 9 months (25 lbs.).

darn it Ksyrup, she's indeed the size of a 9 year!

Our oldest, Andrew, who turned nine last Monday is about 4'5" and we weighed him at 81 lbs a couple weeks ago. While I will admit that he's not among the tallest in his class, he has a good built, definitely not fat, but also really not thin... Many of his friends with much smaller frames weigh in at lest than 70 lbs...

Congrats guys. You are raising some fine gals. I am so glad my daughter is older now. Raising a girl is weird for me since I never had a sister and I had to get used to those overemotional reactions.

CamEdwards, what you see below this post is simply an optical illusion. This post has been customized with Maximum editing and was not meant to turn your baby boy into a baby girl. My apologies
