Discovery Channel: Surviving the Cut
Anyone been watching this? It's on Wednesday nights at 10, currently on its 4th episode. I believe it's 6 weeks long and shows various training programs of "elite divisions of the United States armed forces". So far they have done Army Ranger school, US Air Force Pararescue, Marine Recon, and tonight's episode was Special Force Divers. Some of this shit is pretty intense, which I suppose goes without saying.

The wife and I really enjoy this show. Spent a couple hours talking with my cousin about the training this past weekend. He was a Ranger.

I've been watching. I missed the first episode and was shocked that it wasn't replayed at all throughout the week. I've caught the last three. The Marine Recon one was pretty insane. The Special Forces Divers had it's own edge for me. Put me in a pool and I'm fine but I'm far from a strong swimmer. I would be fucked if I tried the shit they were doing.
I'm really looking forward to the Marine Sniper episode. |
