Needs to be based on Fallout 1.

Fallout 1, with a true adaptation, would make a good movie. Even has passable dialog for the most part.

This isn't really a spoiler, but for the F1 movie, you NEED the waterchip. Its the only reason you left the vault.

I saw this yesterday too, thought it was interesting but not something I'm holding my breath over either.
But if it does happen, F3 sold how many copies vs all previous incarnations of the game? I can't imagine a first movie would be based on anything other than 3 if it happens at all.

Well, part of the reason it sold so much is nostalgia for the old games compared with the Oblivion fans and console game fans.
F1 has by far a better story.

I think Fallout, even in 3, is more about the atmosphere. They can make a story based on anything as long as the central character is a loner in a post apocalyptic world. |

Sorry, bulletsponge, there are tax laws in place that expressly forbid anyone other than Uwe Boll from making this movie. |

I like that Uwe Boll makes movies! It's nice to know that if I made a crap pot of money and decided to produce, write and make movies, then there would be an established director I'd be better than.
