Hopefully it moves south of here. We don't need any more snow. Getting really tired of it after having none for most of the winter.

I agree with you about the snow Steve. I posted this also on my facebook, but looks like my area wins the snow fantasy league this year!

F me. Our one month of winter has been a helluva mess. Of course it just got worse overnight. Moved the target a bit north......

Yeah, nothing like winter starting the 3rd week of February. Jeez. I was driving to track practice, a SPRING sport, and seeing a snowplow. Come on.

We were upgraded to a winter storm warning. 6-10 inches of snow. That is brutal for our area. We are on the edge of the Ozark Mountains. So lots of hills and curvy roads.
My wife went grocery shopping and she said the store was packed. People buying their milk and bread.

Ah, Spring.

Snow blower went out during last storm, just finished shoveling the drive. Weird storm, temperatures were warm enough that the first couple of inches stuck on the grass but not on pavement. Looked about 6 inches in the driveway, 8-9 inches in the yard and deck. There is not a muscle in my body that is not sore.

we look like we have 10 inches and its still snowing pretty hard.
I went out earlier and made it up the hill to my next door neighbors drive and turned around.
They have been plowing today, so we got out for a few minutes a couple hours after my 1st try.

Sorry to here about the car in the ditch. That is no fun.

It's been interesting watching Facebook post about this storm. First the Kansas folks, then the Indy ones, and now the Richmond ones

In about 10 minutes we are going to get hit by a storm. About 25 miles to the southwest of us there was winds recorder at 101 mph. We are expecting 80-90 mph winds. Plus, tornadoes. Plus, hail.
We had hail a little earlier. about quarter sized. The weather guys are saying golf ball to egg sized hail is coming.

A funnel cloud spotted over my town. But our Tornado warning expired. A tornado was spotted about 15 miles northeast of us.
A mobile home park got hit by a tornado 25 miles southwest of us. Why do tornadoes like mobile homes?

We had golf ball sized hail the other day. Had a roofing guy out today. Roof needs to be replaced. Yay.
He pointed out 2 softball sized dents in one of my gutters. New gutters, also.

We'll be at 18" within the hour, and the forecast is that "the rate of snowfall will slow by morning." It's coming down at 1" per hour now.

Damn, I just saw that. Wow, the only upside is that it's April and not October. It shouldn't last too long by comparison. That's pretty much the reason I was ready to leave there after graduation.

More snow. Surely someone will tell me at work tomorrow how great this is and how we need the moisture. I know it's true. Doesn't make me like it anymore.

Yeah. It is 85 in St Louis and 3 hours NW in Kirksville it is 48.
The news was showing a funnel cloud west of Jefferson City, MO. This storm is moving from W to NE. And it loks to miss us.
But it is an early indication of what could be coming tomorrow.

The wind map today is pretty interesting:
Wind Map

There's a distinct line where the big front is. The front just came through in the last half hour and there are 25 degree gradients across 100 miles. It's in the mid to upper 70s near the coast while it's in the low 50s back towards the hill country and Austin.

Its like a fault line from Baton Rouge to Lansing. That explains the three days of storms we have had here in Detroit.

Still haven't had a day over 50 yet in Central WI. We're due for one on Sunday/Monday before it goes back down into the low 40s again for next week.

I heard that about Fargo, too. I'll just await the big thaw and what flooding may come (to my part of the state) or will come (to Fargo).

Yikes. We just had about 10 minutes of golf ball size hail, and there was a possible touchdown about 2 miles from us. Scary stuff.
