BIG division game. JAX and IND seem to be lined up to fight for the division, so a leg up on the hth would be huge for either team, but especially if JAX pulls this off as they would be 2 games ahead of everyone.
After trading up for a draft bust, and having an injury to my starting QB and TE, not to mention a beating last week, management is just looking for a respectable appearance by our squad against Buffalo...

Just to be sure we're talking about the same guy... LaGrange? He looks like 5/29 to me, maybe you're talking about my OL picks? I'm more than fine with them.
But yes, my scout does suck for young talent, he's a "poor"

You have a 5th year QB who looks okay, a 11th year who will do okay and of course LaGrange.
No offense to you but you didn't give him playing time in pre season to determine if he is that bad. He has a little rust so you have to give him a few games to get into it and then obviously a few years to fully develop (if at all).
You are playing a CPU controlled Miami team in week 7 and your main starter will still be 2 weeks from full strength. Probably a good chance to take a shot. I am not doing this because I want you to lose, I just don't want to see high hope draft pick get lost in the depth chart because of his ratings.
You're right that i didn't give him any pre-season time, guess I had written him off and didn't think of it, maybe i roll the dice against MIA but I think he;s a lost cause. Of course he'll be on my roster getting paid like a king for the next 3 years so we'll see if he gets any better. He also doesn't know many formations.

10 good formations, the I and Singleback are basically what you can pass out of with some success in the short passing game with a young QB, just don't go too heavy on the 4 WR sets. You would not want to give him a 50/50 split on short and long passes. Maybe lean torwards 65/35 short/long with a 70/30 torwards your 9-12 and 13-18 yard passes.
You have 2 good WRs and a good running game. Most of your starters are getting old and you are unlikely to win a lot of games, it also doesn't help in that division of yours. You might as well start rebuilding and by 2-3 seasons time your RB will be at his peak and your 2 OL picks will hopefully develop. I'm guessing that unless you land a WR in FA that should be your 1st round pick next season.
Put LaGrange as back up for the rest of the season. I don't see you using your other 2 QBs in the future and most likely you will target another QB in next seasons draft. Give your starter a 7 in playing time and see if LaGrange gets put in for a few snaps to develop.
Its best to know now if he really is a bust because your summer league next off season could be very valuable if he actually can play, otherwise you will end up using it on your 2nd round G or 3rd round T - you should probably get them a few more snaps as your LT Deon isn't playing too well this season.
Well after this trouncing by buffalo, something needsto be done, but I must admit I altered my gameplan heavily for BUF so who knows. And you're right Plotz has been a shithead this year, time to start the rookie maybe, he's coming along alright.

Its 1am where I am and I start work at 6am so I am off to get some sleep. I have not looked at the scores yet as I like to go straight to the game log and read each play so I will be interested to see how badly this trouncing is. Man I hope you didn't help that RB get over 1000 yards in just 6 weeks
