Wow. Nobody? I guess I cannot blame anyone though with the way Galaxies started out. Anyhow with player cities now live and vehicles coming in a matter of days I probably will be sticking around for awhile. I'm not really interested in becoming a jedi, just hanging out with guildmates and trying out new things. If anyone is on Tempest server look me up, the name is Dingo. I also have a couple char on other servers but this is my main.

I started playing again after the patch for Player Cities and Creature Mounts came out.
I didn't play long enough to see a real player city (though I don't think they'd be much different from the deserted psuedo-cities I've gone to), but creature mounts really ruined the game for me. Not because everyone could get one or had one. Because 1) Creature Handling already was too powerful...now...damn. 2) All of the populated cities became FLOODED with people shouting over coms that they wanted a mount. And after a week of playing, I realized it was just as boring as it was before. I dunno. Star Wars universe in a MMORPG enviroment...it just doesn't work for me. Star Wars to me is an action-oriented experience. They should of tried to do a mix of MMORPG and Planetside-type gameplay. I've played a lot of MMOPRGs, and combat in SWG was the blandest. At least IMO. |

I gave up on SWG during Beta and decided to check back for the space expansion. Sounds like they are finally getting to where they were supposed to be for release, so I will probably stick to this plan.

Yeah, I might give it another chance when they release the space expansion (and after they get all of the bug out of it...which should be about 10 minths after they release the expansion. )

I've been playing since Day 3, enjoyed it a lot.
I'm now burned out though, and while I still log in every night, I'm doing it more out of habit than my love for the game. Probably will be cancelling my account soon and moving to Horizons. |

DataKing was tinkering with it for awhile. Don't know if he still is.

Funny that should come up on the day I cancel two SWG accounts.
I had been eagerly awaiting that game for two years, and played it rabidly for about two months, but ended up tremendously disappointed. SIGH, back to waiting for WoW and EQ2.
