WW Role Reversal: Game Over!
Ok, it's either now or never for my big game idea.
The premise for the game is that during an FOFC werewolf players get together, a freak happening occurs and real and fictional worlds collide! Most of us want to return things to normal, but there are a select few who wish to not only keep things the way they are, but rule this new world (wolves). Each player in the game commands a real/fictional character or collection of characters. Basically individual characters have attack points, defense points and special abilities (very similar to hoops marvel game); characters will differ greatly in strength; however some people may command many more characters. Attacks will happen at select deadlines as opposed to real time (allowing people who may not be able to in all to be active. Each character a person controls must be killed in order for that player to die. So lets say for example one person control Hulk and one person controls the Lord of the Rings Hobbits. Hulk will be have attack points, defense points and special abilities for his player and each LOTR hobbit will have attack, defense points and potentially special abilities for his owner. The hobbits will be killed easier either by day attacks or by night attacks, but all 4 hobbits will have to be killed in order for that player to be eliminated. Game will start August 2nd. Please post signups and character requests as soon as possible, so that I can begin balancing things. What I need from you is the fictional characters you want and then we can work on making sure it will work. I will be going through things and adding rules over the next week. If Dr. Manhattan were in the game would he be able to overthrow the moderator?

Ah yes! Forgot about Heroscape! I thought Talisman just because it had like a million different characters you can pick from each with different stats/abilities but that game didn't have much gameplay

Yeah, I bought and played Talisman once and traded it away. It was fun for 60 minutes and then the game went on for another hour or two. The game is too light for the amount of time it takes. I've only played with my heroscape stuff once so far, but it's a fun game and plays pretty quickly once it's set up. I need to hurry up and have kids so I can play with them.

I've got a whole list of character possibilities but I haven't decided on one yet. Once I do I'll put up my list for people having a hard time thinking of one.

Heh - I had asked the moderator about balance before I threw it out there. I had a couple of other options if that one was going to be problematic.
In all seriousness, I've probably just put a bigger bullseye on myself than normal taking a character that will be feared. |

Guys keep in mind, you can be multiple characters. So for example, Hoops is stuck at one character because he is playing Sauron, but I'd have no problem giving Lathum another character or two to go with Roland. If someone wanted to, they could probably get the entire team of ninja turtles, or something along those lines. Heck, it's possible for someone to take the 12 angry men, though they would each be pretty weak.

I added some selected characters to the signup list. Also, anybody in red font is maxed out on their characters due to their power, but anyone not in red I am willing to work with and give them additional characters if they'd like.

I am flying to Colorado for an interview with CSU next week. I should know my schedule later today, and that will tell me if I can still WW it out or not.

Okay, I leave Wed afternoon, arrive there. Then I have dinner, hit my hotel, and such. I don;t have a laptop that works anymore. No Internet then. Thursday is Interview at CSU. That night I have to stay as well (boo!)
Then I get back Friday at noonish. So, I miss from Wed afternoon to Friday afternoon - two full days. No internet, no late light only, nothing. So, it doesn;t look like I'll be able to play this game. Sad face.
