I'm such a huge dork.

Yeah but that's why we love you.
I'm on my way to being drunk, though for no particular reason. I'm drinking rum and coke's though.

Amdaily, did you get your foot/ankle checked out? Cuz pain that lasts a long time isn't usually a good thing (the expert speaking here).

Now I find myself sitting here alone watching a very slow tennis match, the humidity is fucking killing me, thinking about going to the bar, but it will probably be empty to.

I've recently joined the passport club at Taco Mac and have made it my mission in life to get my name on the wall by tasting 120 different beers. I've tasted 6 so far...it's going to be a long journey, but it will be fun!

Just keep in mind that in his last 50 posts, only 14 have been in threads outside of this one. That's 72% of his time posting here is "drunk." And 6 of those 14 were in a thread called "Blah" where a cursory look would say that he was drunk there, too...I do believe that should explain any confusion you may have.

Meanwhile, what do you mean that this thread got bumped to the first page? I didn't have that problem, though if I have to go through one of the interstitials, I DO go to the top of the current page instead of the newest post.

I'm of the firm belief that someone purposely (is that a word?) bumps this thread every time I've had the slightest little alcoholic beverage just to dare me to post in here... really... seriously.. vicious.

to be honest.. most of my confusion probably stems from the fact that I'm slightly intoxicated myself.. in a strange swedish sort of way.

god, we've had a casulty !

he was a young amstel. had lived a good life up to the end. it was an accident really, he slipped down the stairs and feel hard. hung on for just a bit afterwards, but he wasn't the same. had so much to give before the incident, but was only a little shell of himself after. i went ahead and put him out of his misery as quickly as i could, but still in grievein for what could have been

HAHAHAHA

I pointed that line out to Nikki as it happened and said that it was one of the classic lines in cinema. Of course, I went on a diatribe of many more quotes at that point, but that's the one that started the dialog.

The "GIMME ALL YA GOT! GIMME ALL YA GOT." line is a total classic between me and my friend. I think we've used the soundbyte on ever episode of our podcast as well.

Fantasitc movie and some fantastic lines from it.

I found a bottle of wine in my pantry I forgot I had, a Yellow Tail 2004 Reserve Shiraz.

I drank it.

I'm seriously buzzed.

Good thing I had no work today and none tomorrow.

Now to drink lots of water. Water is good.

Clos du Bois, Sterling, YT Shiraz...there's some good wine being drunk in this thread lately.

Edit: Though I would go for the Sterling Cab over the Merlot, personally.

Is it allowable if you post in the drunk thread if you aren't sure if you;re drunk, but just think you're a bit buzzed? I need a clarification here.

I found a bottle of Shiraz/Cab at Walmart for four bucks at Walmart and thought that I would give it a shot. It's drinkable, but that's about it. Hopefully it'll at least give me a buzz after a couple more glasses...

Ugh. I had to deal with that for quite a while but luckily we went semi-wet (beer and wine, no liquor) here in Lewisville just over a year ago. Dry counties suck...

the PA Liquor Control Board are bastards. I went to UVA and in Va, every place seemed to carry booze (fond memories of stumbling into grocery stores late night and grabbing mad dog 20/20 bottles). Go to the supermarket? Booze isle!!!! Here in the good ole Pennsyltucky you only have beer distributors and state stores.

Geez, sounds worse than Texas. I remember the first time I visited Louisiana, though, and went into an Albertson's. I was SHOCKED to see liquor in a grocery store! I had no idea that was legal in the US...
