Note: I should know more after Tuesday but I have a major operation coming up at some point that will have me away from this for a little while as I recover in the hospital (think it will be about a week in the hospital, barring any major complications). My at home recovery time may play into this well as I won't be able to do much as I heal (6-8 weeks without lifting anything).

Eaglefan, I'm a little bit confused. I thought at one point you said we were only allowed 1 player per team, or maybe it was 1 player from each seed group? So I guess what I'm asking for clarificiation is, do we have to draft at least 1 player from each of the teams? And what is the maximum number of players we can draft from a given team. For instance, how many of the 1985 Kansas City Royals players can I draft to my team? Thanks.

Yeah, I'm also quite a bit confused as well in regards to certain things, including if we have to draft from a certain pool or what, so until we get a much more clear set of rules, I really can't draft intelligently.

My interpretation was players from all pools are available, with each team being limited to single player from any one team in the seed group. Is this correct?

Summary:

Can only draft one player from each team.

During rounds 6 through 16 you may lock a player from the team that you draft from that round which will prevent anyone from taking that player.

You may only lock one player from each of the following positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, RF, SP, MR.

ok, makes more sense now. So basically, 1 player from each team, but you can lock a player from another team that you haven't drafted a player from, as long as you haven't already locked a player at that position. I think I got it now.
