Charlie Sheen fired from Two and a Half Men - Ashton Kutcher replacing him

Reported everywhere.

Surprised it took this long.

They would have had their biggest ratings ever next season (if Sheen survived that long).

NBC should make him a godfather offer and try to make one popular show.

Simple solution: Sheen replaces Carell.

Could they replace him with Micheal J. Fox? At least for a couple of episodes?

At least he won't need to draw unemployment

Charlie Sheen May Do a Reality Show, Talk Show for Mark Cuban's HDNet - The Hollywood Reporter

I've lost pretty much all respect for Cuban after this tbh, although I seriously doubt he's losing any sleep over that.

I think Cuban may be confused as to what type of interest Sheen is actually getting.

People may be interested in him right now because of how bizarre he is acting but that show generally gets old in a hurry.

Cryer and son have to move I guess.

In with the mother is too unbelievable I think.

But who? In with Ryan Stiles and Judith?

Like I said on Facebook, the show works because of the chemistry Sheen and Cryer have and the way they're able to play off each other with the fun dialogue.

Even if they replaced Charlie with a different actor, that chemistry would be gone and the dynamic would be altered, to the show's detriment.

If they went the other obvious direction, making the show about Cryer and the kid, it would feel very incomplete without the original dialectic.

How does this work...wouldn't you just kill the show? Was anyone on that show remotely entertaining(relatively) other than Sheen?

Granted I've only seen a couple episodes.

The only show that Sheen and Cryer were in together that was actually funny was Hot Shots.

Thinks you missed my point. Never thought the show was funny with Sheen.

It's too much of a money machine to simply kill it. They could get Rob Lowe and suffer little from it. It's not like Sheen was that amazing on it.

How much coke did Charlie Sheen do?

Enough to kill Two and a Half Men.

I don't know if this is a recent line but I loved this quote in a story on the firing.

"It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of the bazillions, never have to look at whatshisc*ck again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension."

Well worth the read... if only for the actual quotes.

"I am on a drug. It's called Charlie Sheen. . .. If you try it once you will die.

Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body."

"What they are not ready for are guys like you and I that are high priests. Vatican

assassins-warlocks. "

I don't get the fascination with Sheen. Nothing he says is really that funny or entertaining, more pathetic. And yes trainwrecks are sort of fun to watch, but I don't know what makes this one so interesting to people. It's a bipolar guy on drugs saying stupid stuff and living in some kind of alternate reality.

Maybe I'm missing out on the joke or something. It's just boring to me.

I love the 9 pages of weblinks at the end of the document. 12 pages describing how he is messed up, and 9 pages of evidence.

Did anyone happen to catch the Dr Drew special yesterday? Out of nowhere there was a show all about Charlie. Basically it was Dr Drew and a few other doctors being interviewed ABOUT Charlie and his "condition" and addictions and also showed Charlie interview clips. Was pretty bland and nearly tasteless really. Charlie could really sue over that actually. But it was kinda funny too.

They should just resign themselves to one more season and stunt cast a new actor every week. "Playing the role of Charlie Sheen this week, Danny Devito".
