Sorry about this morning. Work tends to always get in the way of the important things.

In 1986 Vince Coleman stole 107 bases while hitting 232 with a 301 obp. Granted, that will kill my other categories, and I sure hope he hits better than 232 but if he gets playing time he should be fun to watch (maybe)

Coleman wasn't going to be sent down to the minors. If Hamilton hits .232, I think he's back in AAA to work a little more as I don't think he'll be +.069 in OBP either.

If this was traditional roto I think Hamilton would be a great pick. In 7x7, not so much.

According to Yahoo, he was going on average in the sixth round. But perhaps absolutely no one and their mother had interest in drafting him in this league.

Curses!

Way too early on Hamilton IMHO. He's a pure speed guy. Sure he's atop a good offensive lineup but skills wise I don't think he's much different from Rajai Davis. I bet Hamilton is a really fun player to watch and I wish him luck this season but I don't think he'll be a great fantasy asset this season.

I am going to be busy for the rest of the day in all likelihood. I will pm clebrownsfan, but if he doesn't make his pick on time then somebody can post his pick which would be the top guy left on the yahoo rankings which I believe is Jean Segura and this will keep the draft moving.

Why do those two SS come off the board before Andrus?

I'm completely at a loss...

Andrus is a speed only guy who can't hit. Castro had a down year last year but I'm betting on a rebound. To me Segura and Andrus are basically the same player. I'd rank Castro over both of them.

Starlin Castro has "tantalizing speed"???

Are you talking about the shortstop for the Cubs? Because that's utterly ridiculous.

Let me rephrase because I think I'm being too harsh on Andrus. To me he's a one category guy with the potential for a second category. I think Castro has the potential to be a three category guy and I prefer his balance to Andrus's speed.
