Can you play FOF on a MAC laptop?

I'm looking to purchase a new laptop

just wondering if FOF had to be played on a Windows computer...

Pretty much yes, but there are workarounds if you partition your disk or something like that

Natively in Mac OS it won't work, no, it's a piece of Windows software. But it can be done nonetheless.

I know some people here use Parallels...on my 2015 dual-core i5 Macbook Pro and my former 2011 Macbook Air I didn't have a powerful enough computer to get that to work well for me.

But with both of those computers it worked well to play FOF on a windows partition using bootcamp, i.e. I would boot the computer into windows mode, FOF would be installed in the windows enviroment, and it worked fine.

I'd expect if you have a quad-core or otherwise more powerful mac you'd have no problems playing FOF through parallels or some other virtual machine software
