And now, for my next trick, I'll make the sound disappear on my PlayStation 3.
This is really weird. I know the sound works on my TV, because the one analog channel I get plays sound through the speakers, as do various audio programs on my computer. The Xbox 360 works fine, as well.
The digital channels aren't coming in anymore though, and my PS3 quit playing audio altogether. I can't find anything relevant on Google, but I'm trying some of the things they listed for other sound issues to see if I can find something that works. While I'm doing that, anyone have ideas? |

Check the sound settings, SAP, etc. It's probably on one of those audio settings that doesn't play well with others.

Everything was defaults. TV, PS3, etc.
I ended up just unplugging everything (including, oops, my computer), and then plugging it all back in, and the PS3 gives me sound now. So weird that that was the one thing that just decided to quit. Still no channels coming in on the digital antenna, but I suspect that might be it being 2:30am in a city that, let's face it, ain't LA. |
