2027 Player performance REVIEW

Thought since everyone will know which teams make the playoffs and all that, no one seems to know about great player performances outside of their own team.

This thread is to create that place for you to talk about your players, those FA picks, vets or rookies and how they played in the 2027 regular season and playoffs.

Baltimore's latest man-crush is on rookie safety Howard Duncan (sorry, can't link, as he doesn't seem to exist on the website). A rookie we signed pretty cheaply, he looks like he probably has a long term job on this team now. Solid rookie campaign -- 6 PD to 33 PA isn't too bad, he notched 3 picks, one forced fumble, and 50 tackles in a free safety role, and it looks like he has solid skills in both zone and bump coverages.

We also seem to have landed a rebound year from QB Claude Patterson -- who had a weird down year last season, but roared back to being among the higher rated passers this season. Odd series in his TD/Int ratios as a starter -- chronologically: 41/8, 33/23, 40/11. Tough to say what happened in the middle year (other than we lost a good veteran WR) but we're glad to be back into the elite realm of overall passing efficiency. Quack!

We were stoked with rookie WLB Harold Lavorin, who produced 14.5 sacks and forced 5 fumbles in what amounts to about 60% of the playing time he could have gotten..

DT Dustin Blake (5.3 PR%, 8.2TK%) is probably our best acquisition since the league began, and he has been a beast. Some of his sacks were taken by Lavorin, no doubt.

Happy with our dual 1000 yard backs, especially Randy Anderson (1204 yds, 7td, 5.04 ypa), who really bloomed this season.

Happy with our QB Dejban, (3930 yards, 30 td, 14 int, 98.6 rating) who has finally managed to secure my trust enough that we signed him to a big deal before the season started. He paid that back with a fine campaign, but he'll need to learn some more formations and how to be a little safer with the ball to help us truly contend for the foreseeable future.

Disappointed in CB Donny Lucas, whose fall from grace and a 91 overall rating has resulted in him playing like he is in a haze all the time from the sheer shock of it. He gets a pass this season, but he better figure his shit out soon.

One of the worst players that was given to me in the "crap Draft" has done what I thought he would, played very well. In his 3rd year, RB Sean Musial got 4th most rushing yards with 1209 on 287 carries (4.21 ypc) but only got 2 TDs which was my fault passing more in the redzone.

2nd year Punter Jeff Crockett has really improved, getting the highest gross and net per punt average of 47.0 and 40.7 yards respectively with 34 inside 20.

Rookie CB Darryl Staples played well in his starting role, getting 57 tackles, 1 sack, 11 PDs and 6 INTs (83.8 %PD). Topped only by rookie CB Donny Dancer of the Jaguars who had an amazing 28 PDs...WOW.
