Wayman Tisdale passes away at 44..........

He died of cancer. Terribly sad.

Great basketball player, better person. He will be missed. He was a great ambassador to the University of Oklahoma as well as the state.

Wow. I'm glad I got a chance to see him play when I was a kid. Also a pretty decent jazz musician.

Check out this Lawrence, Kansas newspaper article that they decided to run the day after Tisdale passed away. Classy stuff..........not.

Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous that the article comes out a day after Tisdale dies. It's only loosely tied to him, only throwing him in the story to tie it to any sort of present relevance. There's no reason to bring this out unless OU's playing at KU as far as I'm concerned. Even less reason to bring it out because a big player on that team died.
