I have to guess the wolves were worried Batman counted for two in the village count, otherwise they made a poor play when they seemingly had the votes to lynch DV instead of hoops and take us to 3-3. Unless DV is a wolf too. I have to admit I've got no clue what's going on at this point.

One slight concern about voting DV, the only way it makes sense to me for hoops to put him on the block is if he's a brutal wolf. If he is then it is game over tonight.

Though admittedly that lynch is rather confusing to me being the wolves had the votes to lynch DV but left two votes on hoops.

Hoops had already fake revealed, so he was clearly the wolf to sacrifice if DV was another wolf. Not sure if there is a brutal mechanic, but it's entirely possible that someone wasn't able to get back online to move their vote (possibly DV himself).

Gah, I had the numbers wrong on DV needing to be a brutal, it could have worked either way with the wolves not being blocked on night kills. So forget about that. It could make sense to sacrifice DV if hoops could use his reveal and finding a wolf on a claimed scan as evodence that CF was lying when he claimed to be Dawes. Then he would just need to put the first vote of the day on CF and convince one villager CFs reveal was fake.

The possibility that DV was a wolf who couldn't switch off of hoops is something to consider for why the wolves didn't win that vote.
