Daily Fantasy Football - Season Long Challenge

For those tired of having a fantasy football season going down the drain after 2-4 weeks due to numerous players on the IR, I introduce the Season Long Daily Fantasy Option.

Yahoo runs a tournament for free and I thought it would make for a fun alternative with weekly and final season standings paying out. I'd also like to introduce some twists to the standard DFS options.

First and foremost, I'm looking to do a buy-in of $100. Yahoo would be the site where the contest would run. Scoring defined here: Yahoo Sports - Daily Fantasy

Assuming we can get around 20 entrants, prizes would look roughly like this:

Top 3 cumulative scores on the season take home the following:
1st: 21% total pot
2nd: 10% total pot
3rd: 5% total pot

Weekly scores take home the following:
1st: 2.75% total pot
2nd: 1.25% total pot

Special Rule:

• Each week, an owner will be able to designate (2) bench players (1 QB max) whom could be used in the case of a breakout game, injury, etc.
• Bench players must have equal or lower Weekly Salaries to be used
• Owner can use a max of (3) bench players throughout the course of the season
• Bench player points will not impact weekly scoring standings; however, the bench player points will go towards the overall season standings.
• The player subbed out will still have their score in play for the weekly standings; however, their score will be replaced in the overall season standings

Example:

• Owner selects Tom Brady ($40), David Johnson ($45) and Mark Ingram ($25) in starting lineup
• Owner CAN NOT select Aaron Rodgers ($45) as a bench player
• Owner can select Drew Brees ($40) and Christian McCaffrey ($30) as bench players; however, McCaffrey could only be used to replace David Johnson or the FLEX player assuming the FLEX player has a salary of $30 or less.
• Points for Brady, Johnson and Ingram would be used for the Owner's standing in the weekly contest
• Points for Brady, McCaffrey and Ingram would be used for the Overall Season standings should the owner decide to replace Johnson
